My husband and i have discovered Fibo through groupon and have been there often. Its become our favourite restaurant. The service is so friendly and impeccable. The food is to die for and the drinks are genius. Its like an explosion of amazing flavours in your mouth. Definitely recommend for a couples night out or birthday party.

A highlight in the Montreal food repertoire, this was my first trip into the molecular gastronomy scene. Guided by a warm and welcoming duo comprising of a charming head chef and a suave and hilarious bartender, I was treated to an evening of laughs and flavours that both I and my significant other sincerely enjoyed. I recommend taking 3 molecular... More

He personally spoke with each & every guest at the bar & made... More

Went there without knowing what to expect and I must say, I am very satisfied with the flavors, the service and the drinks! Waiter took the time to explain the menu and made the experienxe very pleasant. The filet mignon is so tender, you have to try, the extra is well worth it. The chocolate explosion is a MUST: spicy,... More

Amazing service. Food is incredible and nice ambience. I recommend this place. The prices are reasonable. Cocktails are good, you taste alcohol and bar tender knows his stuff. French and English service. Cheers.

Great atmosphere with an interesting take on classic food and cocktails. The use of liquid nitrogen makes for some very interesting drinks.

Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighbourhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic centre of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its centre, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theatre.
