Terrible waited 2 hours 30 min for my food. And it tasted like crap. Service was mediocer and the person making and handling our food was smoking and not washing there hands. And fries were burnt.

This place has such a huge variety of poutines and other fast-food-type of meals. The waitress was very friendly and even gave me a few poutine samples so that I can make a good choice. I chose the Russian poutine; although it was really good,...I would rather opt for the traditional poutine. The place is affordable and well situated. I would go back!More

Here is the best address to taste the traditional Poutine! A large range of choices is waiting for you.. especially that you can compose your own Poutine recipe!

There are so many other places to eat poutine. The venue is not terrible, the poutine is not terrible, but I would rather go somewhere else.

It is a nice place, very fast attendance (I did receive my order in less than 7 minutes) and the food are good! When you sit down, you receive a form where you should check the option and create your own poutine (a la carte...is also available if you prefer)More

Went there alone on a weekend night in April 2018. It was obvious only one of the three waiting staff was experienced and was rushing to train the others while taking pick-up orders over the phone. So I was looked after by two newbies who...did not really know what to do and a very busy and tired waitress who couldn't hide how fed up she was. Not great, although I understand the situation. Even if the service was horrible, me food was good, warm and prepared quickly.More

This place not only has delicious poutine at a great price but the staff were brilliant too!! We turned up to the restaurant as it was the closest to our Airbnb, wanting something quick but we got so much more than we bargained for. We...walked in and the staff were so friendly and welcoming, recognising immediately that we spoke English and would prefer the English menu. Once seated we soon ordered our beers and poutine (which was hard as there was so many to choose from!!). They came soon after, we both ordered a regular portion each but one portion would have been enough for us both. The staff joked that we wouldn’t be able to finish them and said we would get a prize if we did. CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! Sadly, I failed the challenge 😔. But my friend finished her plate. They were so lovely and insisted that we tried a traditional dessert of theirs. I can’t remember what it was called but it was certainly worth the extra calories. Visit here with your best Joey Tribianni sweatpants on and make sure you’ve not eaten all day. Awesome place. Definitely recommend.More

Oh my, poutine! We absolutely loved this place and this food! We waited a few minutes in line and were ushered to an awesome table. We’ve never had poutine before, but we dove right in! Our daughter made her own: bacon, julienned fries, cheese curds....It was outstanding. We then shared the House Specialty and the Shepherd’s Pie. Of the three, the Shepherd’s Pie was the best (look for the ketchup in the pics.) There are two sizes— I couldn’t finish the small. The staff was amazing and so so so nice! One woman recommended the Xango— You MUST try this. It’s a crispy pastry shell stuffed with a cheesecake filling and then covered with a caramel sauce and cinnamon. (Here it is cut into four pieces) It was heavenly. Wonderful experience! Highly recommended.More

Tried to beat the crowd in other places and decided to drive a bit farther. Glad we did that. Though there was large crowd the staff was able to get us in relatively fast. Food was obviously great and was served without any delay. We...had the ground meat, smoked beef and chicken poutine with their hot sauce. It was really great. Would suggest for people who are not hell bent on eating in the “must eat” places.More

I used to loved so much Poutineville, I love their burgers and their poutines! The last three times I went to eat it, the french fries where a little but burned and the bread for the burgers, not that fresh. After three times, I am...afraid to go back again... The quality is not stablemate sometimes is fresh, sometimes, not! I still love Poutineville, but maybe I’ll try in another franchise.More

This was our family's first experience with poutine. Poutineville made creating your own version fun. Even for a family with a teenager! The wait staff were very friendly and helpful. The portions are big -- you'll end up with leftovers to take home.

This stop just topped our trip with Jeremy who showed us several local and typical restaurants around the city center. I thought we Americans already think of how to top things in food, but the mixtures over here were incredible. The so called poutine I...tried with eggs and cheese, and hope to find this again over here back in the US. But with this food I closed Canada into my heart.More

Poutine in its classic form is a bit hit-and-miss for me: it's filling but very stodgy and lacks any complex flavours or textures. It's great if you're drunk at 3am but Canada deserves more from its national dish - and this places delivers it. I...got the "Zeus" poutine - with crushed potatoes (fried potato cubes that get smashed together refried), tomatoes, onions, gyros, feta, and red wine gravy. The vegetables provide much-needed fresh crunchiness to the dish, while the potatoes, sauce and cheese give you that fatty, carb-loaded calorie and protein you're really there for. And because everything is in such large chunks, each bite will deliver varying amounts of the contrasting flavours and textures so what looks like a monotonous meal turns out to provide a lot of sensory novelty. The lamb gyros on top was good but there wasn't much of it and honestly was unnecessary - remove it and you have yourself a vegetarian meal that a carnivore like myself would be perfectly satisfied eating. Or go design your own poutine, but judging by how well-crafted the Zeus was, whoever designed the poutine menu seriously knows what they're doing.More

The best comfort food you can find. My husband is Coeliac, and it's very hard to find poutine that has gluten free gravy. Theirs is delicious. My husband insists on going every time we're in Montreal.

Definitely love the fact that you are able to customize and create your own poutines here. You can choose different fry types (thick cut, Julianne). I wouldn't say that it was the best poutine ever but it was definitely somewhere that I will go back...too again. Easy to find with street parking and it is open late which is great for a late night arrival.More
