About
La Cornetteria is the only place in Montreal that bakes fresh cornetti every morning. That's right and they taste just like the ones you had in Italy on that early morning just after a fun night at La discoteca or crammed up on a busy cafe counter

The cannolis live up to the hype! Great place to pick up pastries for later, not really a spot to sit down.

Read an article about the best Zepple in Montreal. Decided to check it out as I was close by. Then proceeded to also buy two cannolis.
Needless to say, the box was empty by the time I got back to my home. They were all so delicious.
It is a small bakery with incredibly friendly service.
P.S. you can only get Zeppole in March around St. Joseph's Day. Don't worry, they have lots of other treats to satisfy you.

Stefano is an amazing pastry chef! My favourite is the "Sfogliatella" - fresh, crispy and not too sweet. In my opinion is the best in Montreal! (I tasted the same thing in many patisseries around Montreal for the past 5 years). Finally, I discovered my favourite!
Highly recommended!!

Every time I am in town, I cannot start the day without one of Stefano's ricotta cornetto! They are delicious and the only thing I cannot understand is why there isn't something similar where I live in Italy!!
You have to try them!

This was our first visit and we enjoyed it very much.
While we only had an ice-coffee, cappuccino and cream-filled donut, they were excellent.
All the desserts, with exception of macarons I'm told, are made the owner/pastry chef. The staff do add a little touch to them as well and can customize them if you want.
I loved my cappuccino - it was strong and the froth was excellent.
I noticed they have paninis, which we didn't try but will next time we visit Montréal.

This was in the little Italy section of the street they call " The Main" which is Saint Laurent. The man working there was very nice though his English was limited. The croissant filled with almond was excellent. They have a version of the cronut which is really more like a doughnut with yummy fillings. If you aren't in the mood for a cannoli, you may want to go there as well. Cute little dining area.

I tried the iconic cronut in the pistachio flavour.
First of all it is tiny for the price (4$), the taste was okay, certainly not amazing. There was a good amount of pistachios but it remained quite bland.

I cannot give a bad review for the whole pastry shop but i will definitely mention that their interpretation of the cronut is very upsetting. We went there for the cronut which costed $4 and we were both very upset.

Had a croissant with a cheese mixed with whipped cream - was absolutely delectable!! The young lady who served us was also delightful. A must-stop for a coffee and dessert!

Ok, these were the BEST pastries I have tasted (and I visited Italy twice!). Yes, there are the cronuts which are very good, but don't miss out on the other pastries; they are absolutely delicious. Next time I am in Montreal, I will make a special detour simply to buy a few pastries from this wonderful shop.

The cronut pastries from La Cornetteria are amony my top 3 things to do every time I come to Montreal. They are simply the best. Both the ricotta and the custard fillings are equally good, though the custard is slightly sweeter.
The cronut is a hybrid between a croissant and a donut. I like the ones here better than any other I have tried because they are flaky, crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside, and are the perfect blend of butter and sugar.
My friends and I always buy a box each when we are in Montreal. I've easily spent over $100 on cronuts this year alone (and I've only been to Montreal 3 times). Needless to say, we are addicted. (One cronut is $4, but worth the price tag!)
Buy for yourself, buy for your friends, and take some home for later. You won't regret it.

We purposely made time in our visit to stop by and enjoy a cornetti. Filled with Nutella, this pastry was délicieux!
The service was fast, friendly and well-versed in the various pastries the shop had to offer.
Staff speak both French and English and were accommodating to all patrons.
