First time try. It is really good and tasty. It is a bit crowded and loud but food is great. We did have the impression that once we ate, we had to leave since new clients waiting. I would go back when less crowded.

This was a great choice for brunch. The menu was concise and to the point. Offering a range of options, it too many, not too few. All the food was super tasty with the French Toast and the potatoes being faves.

Wow! I have wanted to ho to this breakfast place for years. Always a big line up and i skip it. Four of us and everyone swore it would be the first and last time. The potatoes were so overdone we couldn't even bite into them. How can you serve black potatoes? The poached eggs were cold. Probably made before hand. Pancakes and french toast plates include nothing but the one item. Shocked to be charged 5$ for an Earl Grey tea. I gave it two stars because service was excellent. The mile end has so many wonderful breakfast places. Skip this one

Terrible service. We rrived about 12:30 and waited five minutes before someone came over. My GF ordered lemonade, and I ordered "coffee", which everywhere is understood to mean plain drip coffee. If I had wanted an espresso, or a cappucino, or a machiatto, I would have asked for one. The waiter says "Do you want an Americano?", which I didn't, but I assumed he was offering that because they do not have drip coffee, so I said yes. He brings it with a lump of sugar, but no milk. I have to wait five minutes for him to return to ask for milk. We ordered lunch at the same time, french toast for her, eggs for me. And then we waited, and waited, and waited. Two other tables came in, ordered, and were served, and no food for us. My GF calls the waiter over - it is 1:15 by this point, we had been there 45 minutes - and he says the food is coming. She asks when and his reply was "I don't know.". We paid for our drinks and left. The food going to the other tables looked good, but we will never know.

It was disappointing! I used to love this place. I went a few months ago and the huevo rancheros weren't great. We decided to give it a second chance, and our potatoes where overly cooked, to the point of almost being burnt. The sausages where also not great. There was no option for brown bread. It just felt like there was little love in the preparation! The coffee was great. The service was friendly but slow. I should have said something on the spot, but our friend need support and not me complaining about the food!

On visit to Montreal we wanted to explore the plateau so Ubered from old town over to Plateau and just picked first interesting spot we saw and happy we found Faberge. Extensive brunch menu, waffles, crepes, plenty of bennies, sandwiches and other unique creations. Service top notch, staff friendly. Food was homemade, portions a decent size and prices fair. I would recommend and go back.

We visited for a weekday breakfast and it blew us away! We had the Japanese pancake and breakfast poutine (added ham). The inside is cozy and comfortable.

It was not bad, but did not stand out, except maybe for the fries and potatoes, that had a nice crispiness. There are many more remarkable places for brunch in Montreal.

Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
