We had one sweet and one savory crepe. Both were quite good. The service was super-friendly and helpful. After ordering you sit down and they bring your crepe(s) to you. The only thing that could be better is the tidiness of seating area. There are...lots of boxes and ingredients stored in stacks around the seating area which detract from the atmosphere.More

Not much more to say about this place, except that it's a fine place to get delicious organic buckwheat crepes filled with produce from the rest of the market. The lines are always long, but it moves fast. Usually they have local hard cider as...well, which is an excellent match for their crepes.More

i was told that they only take debit card. they then present either to pay in CAN amount or USD amount without telling me that they use an unfavorable FX rate plus a 4.99% surcharge when paid in USD. Only realized that in the receipt....Although it's a small $ it appears they are not very honest/upfront about paying in USD.More

A nice surprise to find a creperie in the midst of a farmer's market full of veggies and fruits. Both savory and sweet crepes are offered at decent prices. Service was somewhat slow on a busy Sunday afternoon. The crepes were better than average but...not "heavenly!"More

Excellent lunch of one large buckwheat crepe with ham and egg, along with a side salad and drink. The service is slow since each crepe is cooked to order, but well worth the 10 minute wait. Very few options for eating within the Jean Talon...market, this being especially helpful for those of us with gluten issues. Delicious and generously portioned.More

We landed up at the Marche (Market) Jean-Talon after a sweltering walk up Mont Royal and a Uber trip down to the Market. My wife had high expectations and a desire to sample the fabled 'crepes" in Montreal. We saw a large line of people...waiting for their crepes at the Creperie Du Marche and so we joined in. After wending our way in line we ordered the buckwheat crepes. There were a wide variety of fillings and we chose the breakfast like crepes with ham and egg filling in a buckwheat crepe. We had to wait for a while for the food to be cooked and delivered - we had to wait off the side standing while the food was being prepared. After an almost twenty minute wait, our crepes were ready (three of us) and we had found a table in the meantime and were ready to sit down to the meal at hand. The crepes were tasty (cooked roasted brown in butter - thin and crispy) and the filling was well blended into the crepe base. The ham was chopped up into little pieces and the egg had been spread evenly into the crepe as it was cooking. The midi meal also comes with arugula in a vinegary dressing and a drink. All in all, we spent a lot more time at the creperie than the walk around the market. The Marche Jean-Talon is very interesting with lots of produce at its best in the August summer sun. The market itself is open to the sides and is probably closed for Canada's famous winters!More

The gluten-free crepes were very tasty: we had ham and egg, as well as an apple/ham version. It is more a market stall than a diner, so be prepared to eat at a picnic table. People-watching was excellent as we waited for our crepes. The...farmers market teems with life all around you.More

Not really a restaurant. More a place to order food and you eat at benches. This should take nothing away from the crepes. We ordered several vegetarian crepes and asked for the goats cheese to be replaced due to allergies and they were very accomodating....The crepes were generous and very filling. They were delicious and definitely recommended for lunch. Just be aware you need to pay by debit card or cash if you are a tourist visiting.More

Lunch special is great and comes with a salad with a very tasty dressing. You could ask the staff to swap your toppings. The food is made right in front of you and is really fresh. Some of the best crepes I’ve ever had. A...must go!More

Worth going to Jean Talon just for the Crepes. I had the apple pear caramel and whip cream. As a celiac, I’ve tried lots of gf crepes and these were the best by far. I bought some of the flour to attempt making at home.
