Many different options for burgers, and you can turn any burger into a vegetarian patty if you so please. We went with beef burgers. They're very tall and a bit messy to eat but worth the struggle. Very delicious, juicy, great toppings. Perfect combinations of ingredients that worked perfectly together. The fries were also cooked to perfection. Would definitely return!

We found this place listed on "You Gotta Eat Here" and were not disappointed. We had a great time for our dinner out. The burgers were very tasty and had lots of choices to choose from. Our server was very helpful and personable. We will be returning to this restaurant when we return to Montreal. Thank you!

Had a great experience! The server was excellent, the food was excellent, nothing to complain about at all. If you like Philly cheesesteak, have the Rocky burger! Cooked to perfection, it was moist, tender, and delicious. Even better was the fact that the bun was light and not heavy like most Burger buns, leaving the burger and the fixings the... More

We visited the Burger Bar on Montreal's chic Crescent Street for dinner. We weren't sure what to expect from the place but we wanted a casual dining experience and something cold to drink on a hot evening. The outdoor menu looked intriguing and we noticed that they had been profiled on a show on Food Network Canada, so we decided... More

We tried the smoked meat burger with fries- very tasty and the bacon mac n cheese had a nice smokey flavor. Both were very good. Unfortunately we sat upstairs and found it oppressively hot. Recommend eating downstairs.

Hello, Thanks for dining at Burger Bar and reviewing us. Springtime in Montreal is both wonderful and manic when it comes to weather which keeps us on our toes trying to maintain dueling heating/air conditioning systems on two floors especially with our busy terrace and open and closing windows; I assume on that particular spring day we got it a... Fantastic food whilst watching the live ice hockey game with my daughter. Very friendly atmosphere with attentive staff. Food was very tasty and good value. Would recommend it to anybody whether you want a snack, or large meal. We enjoyed the pulled pork nachos and cheese burger.

The burgers are very good like advertised, the decor is pretty cool and all and all it's a real good spot to go for burger. There are other options on the menu as well but if you're going to have a burger, they're worth a visit.

This burger was so good I had to write a review on Facebook, Yelp and TripAdvisor! Lol We wanted to get some afternoon exercise so we walked a little over a mile to get here. They had all types of burgers with lots of substitutions available as well: salmon, tuna, black bean and bision meat! Let's break this down: The... More

Burgers are amazing! Just like the photos. Cooked to perfection, and served fast. Prices were very reasonable. I would highly recommend this place! Oh and the service was also excellent. Ben was friendly and helpful with the menu, and when we came back a week later he remembered us and what we had ordered. We will return on our next... More

I loved my food. Nice place and people seems friendly. My son loved the crispy chiken we ordered for him. Too bad this place does not have a children's menu. My kid made me get the awesome mac and cheese but he did not like it. Only because he not use to it. But my wife and I loved it.My... More

Staying in Centre-Ville (Downtown)

Neighbourhood Profile
Centre-Ville (Downtown)
Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and commercialism. A suffusion of luxury hotels, flagship stores, high-end restaurants, and corporate headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by nightfall transforms from a business district into a youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and restaurants heavily peopled by students and young professionals. The once-seat of millionaire's 'Golden Square Mile', an incongruity of stately mansions and dapper brownstones sit between glass skyscrapers, creating a visually lush urban landscape. Beneath the sidewalks lay the Underground City, the world's largest below-ground mall, a labyrinth of over 1,500 shops and eateries that echo the profusion of cafes, gallerias, cinemas, and fashion outlets above. From the scholarly array at McGill University to the carousing crowds of Rue Crescent, visit Downtown to shop by day for what you'll wear there by night.
