We have recently discovered this wonderful restaurant.
The food is fresh and tasty. Portions are good. A delicious, healthy meal when I am not in the mood to cook and chop all my own vegetables. A great neighborhood restaurant for us living in the West...Island.
The service is friendly.
The peanut butter dumplings are probably the best that I’ve had.
In addition this is a BYOB.
Good spot if you are going with a group!
Give it a try. You will be pleased that you did!More
My wife and I eat here st least twice a month. We consider it a local alternative eatery and it is a BYOB
It is always good with so many tasty choices The service is friendly and quick but ut we mostly eat during the...week
I’ve tried many dishes but have my favorites and I like spicyMore
OK, it seems like a popular restaurant (it was busy both times we ate there) but if you know Thai food, and enjoy it, you will almost certainly be disappointed. The food the restaurant serves is definitely not Thai. The chef is Cambodian and this...is reflected in the menu and the dishes themselves - even those purporting to be Thai.More
Was apprehensive about the restaurant when I entered however that feeling was quickly replaced with delight.
I had the Bankok soup my friend had the Tom Yam. Both were served hot and both were flavourful. We both agree the Tom Yam was the nicer one....The peanut butter dumplings had a nice meat mixture and were different from anywhere else we have been. The peanut sauce was not as spicy as other places but the consistency was excellent.
I had the chicken bankok my friend had the Tao cari which we were told was spicy but neither of us felt were overly spicy. Definitely well presented and full of flavour.
We finished with Jasmine tea and pineapple desert which left us both wanting more.
Excellent dinner and a bring your own wine spot. A must try for anyone who has not been.
Well done Saveurs Thai!More
A group of ten of us met here for dinner on a week night. This place is a hidden gem. The parking was limited and it was busy for a Wednesday night. The food is authentic Thai and the best way to enjoy it was...to sample as many dishes as we could. There is a table d'hote as well as a varied list of choices. The service was friendly, efficient, and accommodating, and with a Smile! The additional bonus was the Bring Your Own Wine option...that put the experience over the top. Looking forward to our return soon !More
Despite the fact that the restaurant open from 17:00 to 21:00 but it definitely worth the adjustment in your eating habits. The variety of the menu is mouthwatering and the fact that it's BYOW makes it a more appealing venue for a small or large...group even for a romantic date.
The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and can make recommendations based on your dietary needs and to top all that it's reasonably priced, can't ask for more. EnjoyMore
After battling traffic to get to the place we found there was very limited parking, the place was cozy and had a nice ambiance, staff were quick efficient and friendly, the place was kinda noisy. Started off with a bowl of Tom Yum Seafood soup which was...very good but the single shrimp in the bowl is not what i'd equate to a seafood soup, next up was lemon chicken and while it was done well there was no wow factor to it and id say it was rather generic, for desert we had lychee and icecream which was very good but just 3 lychees seemed a little underwhelming.
my wife had won ton soup to start and no complaints about that she followed it with chicken and mushrooms in a peanut sauce which was cooked well but again kinda generic.
Bottom line? theres better places without having to endure rush hour traffic on St johns rd and the limited parking.More
