There are better delis in Montreal or at least better known ones but this is a good place that won't be as busy on a Saturday morning. Worth checking out.

Fantastic smoked meat sandwiches and fries. Great for take out as well with delicious soups. I love their cheese blinz and cheese bagels as well. I've been going there for years!

I haven't been here for ages and had a craving ! So we were in the neighbourhood and stopped in ! Parking is very bad around Isabella and Decarie , but we managed ! We met old friends there, we haven't seen them in ages ! We each had a small bowl 🍚 of matzo ball soup 🍜 and not... More

We called ahead and up our smoke meat sandwiches. They only started making them when we got there so glad it was not busy hot still. They must have gotten burned on some take out pick up orders. You are guaranteed it is hot. I had forgotten how good a medium/old fashioned is. WOW!!!!.

We love a good old-school deli, and the Snowdon Deli doesn't disappoint. Two perfect bowls of matzah ball soup got us started, followed by a superb smoked meat sandwich, and a delicious toasted Montreal bagel with lox and cream cheese. Perfect fuel for our long drive back to Toronto. Will definitely return next time we're in Montreal.

Really good for smoked meat platters , Greek salad, chicken soup with kreplach. They have a wonderful take out counter and the best party sandwiches in the world. The service from waitresses gets worse every time we come. Seems to be forgetful and you need to be after them . Usually pretty quick.

I've had a craving for deli food for several months so, knowing that delis are common in Montreal where I was about to travel, I asked a local for a recommendation. The physical facility is a bit the worse for wear, but the food was very tasty. One thing that I really liked (but you might not) is that the... More

This place is the real deal. I've had smoked meat at Dunn's Reuben's, Schwartz and many other places, but this is the best. Fries are real fries as well, not frozen. Great service, the waitress is your mom. Did I mention the prices, rock bottom. The smoked meat sandwich is huge, I could barely finish it. Place was pretty full... More

The smoked meat is superb with hot mustard. The black cherry soda the perfect accompanying beverage . French fries crisp and the waitresses are just the best. They are real. The deli is real. No pretense. Just good food and good service. And not on the beaten path. Not a tourist destination like Shawartz's.

Thank Dorten
