The chicken is very good and the sauce as well. Salad not too bad. I'd give 5 on 10 for the salad. Fries was OK but could be better together with the salad. Portion was good. The atmosphere is OK but could be noisy since it's on Ontario street. Waiters were fine, 6 on 10.

We were in Montreal for a music festival last summer and wanted a decently priced meal that was BBQ. We walked past this place and a couple of guys sitting on the patio said how great the food was. It also looked amazing, so that's how we stumbled upon Aquinta. I had 1/2 a BBQ'd chicken which was very flavorful... More

A Quinta is perfect for what it is. It's a small local restaurant that serves simple, delicious food at reasonable prices. It's especially economical for take out or delivery. Their hamburger is a steal at $8. It comes topped with goat cheese and roasted vegetables and surrounded by homemade fries. Their chicken poutine at $10 is also well worth the... More

We were 18 for diner on a friday night. Food is excellent, choice is unique. Sea food, especially the octopus, are beautifully done. The place is small and cozy. Service was difficult for this large group but very friendly.

Before I get started here let me just inform you that my party of 9 people went to the other location on Jarry Street which is not far from the location on Ontario Street. We had reservations at 6:30 for a party of 9 people which we were seated right away but our waiter immediately informed us that his English... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Olympic Park & Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa)
Named for the Olympic Stadium complexes built for the 1976 games, the Olympic Park and the surrounding neighbourhood of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve (HoMa) make up an invigorated area dedicated to "Space for Life." Around the Olympic Village's arenas and stadiums, Rue Sherbrooke welcomes exploration of its sculpture gardens decorated in the works of Jean-Paul Riopelle and its museum culture headed by the historical Château Dufresne. Maisonneuve Park offers interactive experiences at its bio-dome, insectarium, planetarium, and botanical gardens. For a change of scene, the gentrified space along Rue Ontario Est is packed with the city's newest, edgiest cafes, where an imaginative, youthful crowd sips foamy cappuccinos. A visit here is incomplete without stepping into the vast halls of the Maisonneuve Market, with flower stalls, wine depots, and local produce.
