By far the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to. The food, ambience and owner are phenomenal. The ravioli braised beef and meatballs are to die for.

I had an absolutely delicious meal and most delightful evening at this cozy restaurant. Very inviting, unpretentious, intimate restaurant with nice tables/chairs, quiet music, and lovely lighting. Very courteous, knowledgeable, attentive staff who seemed genuinely happy to be there and proud of their work/fine food....My meal started with a peach Bellini that was cool and refreshing followed by perfectly done calamari. I then had an amazing pasta dish with pappardelle in a creamy mushroom sauce…served just the right temperature and just the right portion size topped with a touch of fresh pepper and grated parm. Knockout dessert of chocolate mousse that totally topped this fantastic meal. All in all, a lovely meal in a lovely restaurant in a lovely city.More

Very charming interior. Tables were close but not bumping elbow. Restrooms are downstairs. Kitchen is open to dinners’ view. Limited alcohol selection due to limited space but the wine selection was not! I had the Ravioli which is the only(?) non-red sauce option. The meat...filling was moist and delicious and the sauce was done nicely. The mushrooms were present but did not overpower the dish. I would have preferred a bit more mushrooms and bread to sop up that juicy sauce.More

I made a reservation at this restaurant after reading all the very positive reviews on Trip Advisor. When we arrived most of the restaurant was set up for a very large party - maybe 20 people. We walked in and there were 2 or 3...young people gathered in front who didn't seem to want to seat us. They finally did at a tiny table in the front of the restaurant. About 15 minutes after being seated an older man (maybe the owner or manager) came to our table and apologized saying that he was downstairs on a phone call. We ordered our entrees - Cavatelli in tomato and basil sauce and the beef Ravioli with mushroom sauce along with wine by the glass. The food was just okay. We opted to leave without having dessert. As we left the people who were part of the large group were starting to arrive. Maybe the quality of our meal was impacted by the fact that such a large group was coming in. I would not recommend this restaurant.More

Lovely restaurant in old Montreal. Great atmosphere. Staff was very friendly. The food was delicious. By far one of my favourite Italian restaurants in Montreal. The homemade ravioli and the gnocchi are a must try.

We celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary tonight and had an absolutely spectacular dinning experience. We have also been to Italy and have to say this was the best Italian food we have had since we returned to Canada and felt like we were right back...in Italy. Grandma’s veal meatballs and calamari appetizers were both delicious. The Pappardelle Boscaiolo truffle and mushroom pasta dish was spectacular. We then had the tough decision on chocolate mousse or tiramisu for dessert, well we couldn’t decide and had both which are hand made and fantastic. The staff and owner made us feel very special and were attentive and welcoming. We highly recommend and will definitely return when we come back to Montreal.More

Stopped in at Salumi for some late night tapas. Enjoyed the prawns with samba a cream sauce and an awesome scallop ceviche with sesame and ginger. Was absolutely amazing. Good wine selection.

Great for a casual night out with the family. Owner was present and tending tables. Calamari and the burrata were perfect. Ravioli and linguini fea diavolo also. Ricotta gnocchi had too much flour so were on the dense side. Owner discounted it when he saw...I left over half the plate. We’d definitely go againMore
