We were in old Montreal for the Remembrance Day weekend and came upon Hambar in the early afternoon, looking for a place to have lunch. This restaurant exemplifies everything that one comes to expect from a city that is know for gastronomic delights. The dishes...More
Ordered the charcuterie plate as dinner for one, and even if the waitress explained all the parts and pieces, I haven't a clue what I ate. Didn't matter, because it was all really good.

Nice cozy bar & restaurant in the St. Paul hotel. Service good and menu varied. A bit noisy - may need noise mufflers installed.

Business lunch in the sun, on the terrasse. Great service, very knowledgeable to help on the wine choice. Had some salmon tartar and it was really good but too small. I still would recommend it because it was really good.
Pasta was wonderful! BUT for $28 there wasn't enough food, very small portions, no salad or bread. We all ask for water and he pour about a half a glass of warm tap water.
