I recently went to Pamika Brasserie Thai, for dinner with a couple friends. We were in the mood for Thai food and this restaurant had great reviews, so we gave it a try! Man, this place did not disappoint! It was delicious! We shared many plates including, the pad thai and the curry! The flavors were authentic and rich! The... More

I used to go there when they had a little kitchen and 12 seats. Food was great back then and fun flowed. Now they have a larger space and a good kitchen. This however seemed to have resulted in the food to deteriorate. Steadily bad the last 3 times I visited and no more visits for me. The Thai iced... More

We were a group of 7 people celebrating a special event. Tom our server was awesome, he explained the menu and the Thai traditions. We shared all the orders and everyone found something delicious. We were treated to Dumplings, shrimp, Bangkok rolls, Green mango salad salad, to start . The best main courses were: Pat Thai (of course), Green Curry,... More

Pamika was like a little slice of Thailand in Montreal. As you approach the restaurant it is at the bottom of an apartment building but as soon as you step inside you are transported to somewhere else completely. The food is great. They can prepare vegetarian dishes and the spices felt much closer to Thai traditions than western versions. Very... More

Ask for the green curry with chicken, seafood soup with coconut milk and lemongrass. And also the springrolls, so crunchy and flavorful!

We were looking to have Thai for dinner and saw that Pamika was highly rated on Trip Advisor. There we six of us and we immediately seated at a nice large U-shaped table. Our waiter , Tom immediately came over to introduce himself. He asked us if it was our first time there and since it was, he was very... More

The service was good, very casual place. The food was amazing and a lot of their plates could be "vegetarianized" and probably "veganized" as well (they make it easy by identifying them on the menu), although their curries all have fish sauce. This is not a place for wine though : only a couple of options and the one we... More

After seeing the reviews, we decided to dine at Pamika. The restaurant is easy to find on Sherbrooke street east and centrally located. The decor is very cute. The service is great. First, We ordered Bangkok delight cocktail served in a pineapple. Then, they recommended us to order several dishes and share which we love to do. Everything was very tasty.... More

Everything was fantastic from the moment I called for reservations. Reservation for a table of eight, with 2 under aged teens. Great communication with the restaurant, they recommended that since I was a party of 8, I preorder with a themed menu allowing efficiency of service. We chose the Muay Thai menu and everything was outstanding. Everything was well introduced... More

Great service and great food. I sat on the bar and was attended by Anthony. He was a really nice guy and actually recommended some drink that was really great... The food was really good and the place is small but comfortable.

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
