Was very impressed on the chicken platter. Lots of flavour and fresh Greek salade. Nice alternative to other fast foods!

This is certainly the best souvlaki in the west end. Simple, friendly, and good food. Nothing fancy, but a great place for lunch without prevention.

My favorite is the chicken souvlaki platter, 1 chicken skewer, home fries, tomato and cucumber salad with a thick slice of feta served with garlic bread. I leave out the fresh red onions and hot green peppers but they do come with the salad. Reasonably priced for the amount of food that you get. Highly recommended.

Hands down the best souvlaki I've ever had. I especially enjoyed the food with a cold black cherry soda.

You know that moment when you first bite into a souvlaki pita and your mouth is rewarded with a thick tasty pita, fresh juicy tomatoes and succulent chicken or pork, all smothered with a delicious, thick tzatziki? Well skip this overpriced and overrated pretender as you will not find that moment here! $15 for a pork souvlaki pita platter! Teeny... More

I had originally tried VdS in 1984 and every time I come to Montréal I make a point of coming for a Souvlaki Pita. The Tzatziki is some of the best on the planet. Simple decor with emphasis on the food. A little out of the way but worth the detour.

My first taste of a souvlaki was here in the 70's, I came home and told my mom that I tasted a delicious meat on a stick. It took years for my mom to understand what I was referring to! Village hasn't changed much that's why we all love it, there is always a mixed crowd, old couples, young families,... More

We heard the ratings of souvaki restaurants in Montreal and this one was rated #2. The service was fast, the restaurant was very clean and the food was excellent. We had the chicken brochette with greek salad and dollar fries. Everything was so tasty

any time I go to Montreal I go for Souvlaki in this place, but I am sorry to say that their quality has gone down. the meat not tasting of anything and too much sauce. The big Salad for more than 10$ was too small, I would pay attention to keep the quality up!
