We arrived without reservations on a busy Saturday night but they immediately found a table for us right by the main entrance lobby. The waiter was rather gruff but the service was prompt. We perhaps ordered the wrong things but did not enjoy the spring...More

Rarely are places in Toronto this good! Kanbai is our night-before-race restaurant of choice, during the Grand Prix Weekend in Montreal. We have (always, actually) been seated immediately and by the same waiter, a short, humourous man that is great at explaining things and being...More

Best food ever!! Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves great food. A little tight for larger groups over 10 persons.

Pleasant surprise in the midst of a very mainstream tourist strip on Sainte Catherine. High quality genuine fare, with the predictable fast, Chinese only mediocre service - but all worth it! And if you book one day in advance, you can get their signature creation...More

My friend was told by his sister in law that this place is good. Firstly the hot and sour soup was way too salty. We found a shrimp that was not cooked all the way. We asked them to remove the dish from the bill...More

We arrived shortly after 11.30am and have been welcome with smiles. They offer some kind of lunch menu (during lunchtime) which is limited to few options (about 8-9 items) - meaning less stuff to choose from :) Right when we sat down, we have received...More

We had a late lunch there while on business in Montreal. We both thought that the food was very delicious. The best fried rice that I ever had. Waiter was very pleasant, and offered suggestions on what we should try. Portions are very large.

Wanted to try the poached fish. They seem to be out of everything fish and soup. We ended up ordering the wrong items on the menu. The salt and pepper shrimps come with their shell... Very hard to clean and eat. The eggplant dish was...More

Montreal's towering skyline is concentrated in the
Downtown area, its nexus of commerce and

headquarters characterize the neighborhood, which by
nightfall transforms from a business district into a
