Great place for breakfast and lunch. Very welcoming staff, especially with children. The menu includes all the "must" have , bid selection of omelette, salads, and juicy burgers. Prices are acceptable, so all in all a warm place, and super food and staff.

I organized an outing with our group of eight friends to Chez Nick on Greene Avenue. It is your typical diner/bistro where you can eat at the counter or at tables. I reserved a couple of days in advance and we were seated almost immediately. My friend and I enjoyed the bagelburger (lox, cream cheese & capers), my husband had... More

I've eaten at Nick's ( Chez Nick ) many times over the years, and I am happy to recommend it to Montrealers or tourists in search of an authentic local breakfast spot. This place is consistently good, reasonably priced, and comfortable. Nothing fancy here, but this is a can't-miss choice for business or pleasure, and it's easy on the wallet.... More

Hungry on a cold Montreal morning and needed something warm and filling. Headed to Nicks where I had the classic breakfast. Good coffee with quick refill and superb and hot scrambled eggs and sausages...who could ask for anything more. I ate at the counter and was in and out in under 25 minutes (which was what I wanted). Gentleman serving... More

Comfortingly familiar-feeling neighbourhood diner serving simple food in generous portions. Staff were friendly, particularly our good-humoured server who laughed at our jokes. Four of us had different dishes and all were pleased. We also appreciated the traditional decor and typical booths. Convenient parking lot opposite.

Too many options on the menu, and servers who seem impatient and are not all that friendly- something you'd expect from a long standing place. Went there a few times, and the price was too high for what they were offering. Servers were not too friendly. And one of the times they even got my order wrong for something totally... More

Always welcoming- this Cafe has been around for years- The food is simple and the environment a throw back to the 50's - but the staff is friendly- the place is always busy- as the food is always up to par and tasty...a home cooked lunch- but "out".

I don't like too much dressing, so I loved the clean flavours in their lunch salad, and I had everything within an hour so I could get back to work. Good food, good diner staff (if sometimes a little chatty!)

I was taken by a local for lunch. It's a classic diner that is very well established in Westmount. A comprehensive menu with all the diner favourites at fair prices. I had the cheeseburger with fries, really really good, perfectly dressed with all the fixings.
