This is not the first time I visit Steak Frites St. Paul and it has always been a get together restaurant. Very loud atmosphere and portions are, lets say measured. Ok they have unlimited fries but again you could only so much. It is a BYOB so that is a positive note. A little high for an onion soup at... More

The restaurant is noisy but we had quick service. It is BYO. We had good fillet mignon steak with sauce and green beans. However, we couldn't eat the frites as they had been obviously cooked and left for ages. Really poor. I complained and we were offered more but we refused as our steak was half-eaten. A restaurant specialising in... More

Had a nice dinner at this spot. across the road from the Intercontinental hotel. several steak frites, duck, and a lamb shank. food was good, as was the service, friendly, and efficient. atmosphere was also good, bustling steakhouse style. recommended.

it's a proven formula..it's a trip to France..great Creme Caramel, Cappucino too...the ambiance is relaxed...more affordable at lunch then in the evening when it gets more pricy

Spacious seating for a group of 10 people. Most of us had the steak and fries all delicioulsy cooked the way we wanted. One colleague had the lobster and she too enjoyed it very much. Nice variety of desserts. Try their mini cupcakes - great for sharing as you get three on the plate. They also make a good espresso... More

I went with 3 colleagues for dinner at 6:30pm. Contrary to other reviews, our server has kind and patient. I ordered the duck and steak plate. Everything comes with fries. The meal was OK. The duck was better than the steak. The fries were dry for my taste. It is a very noisy place as everyone's voice seems amplified.

My colleague and I went to this restaurant right after work on a Monday night. The service was excellent. The place was quiet. The steak was exactly as we had both ordered it and it was excellent. The fries were really really good and they were all you can eat. We brought our own wine. It cost each of us... More

Have been to this place many times but it had been a while. There were several changes which include increased prices and salad no longer being included with meal. The food was good but if I am going to pay these prices I would go elsewhere. We were seated upstairs which is mainly for groups and is quite plain and... More

We decided to try this restaurant since it was close to our hotel. We did not realize it was a "bring your own wine" but decided to dine there anyways. The place was crowded and incredibly noisy. The menu was mostly steak, or fish, accompanied by 1 vegetable (green beans) and all you can eat fries or salad. My steak... More
