Took them 20 minutes to acknowledge the order, then 25 more "preparing the order" to finally cancel it, I feel bad for the delivery guy that was on site. It's unacceptable to let a client wait for 45min and let him down at the end...of the day, it's probably a good tapas bar when you are on site but definitely unreliable when it comes to deliveries.More

This was our first time having dinner at this restaurant and all 5 of us were so impressed with everything from the sangria, to the food and to the great waiter. The filet mignon Poutine was delicious! The Bueno Frit was decadent! I’m definitely going...back!More

Monday: oysters. Salmon tartar and lamb chops. Dranks are greats. Price is reasonable. A good bang for buck.

Went there with some out of town friends and we had so much fun. We share a bunch of food and they were simply delicious!! They have a huge selection for drinks. But....the small tender $1 variety are wonderful. Three of us devoured over 40! It was so good we went back again. I now have new respect for small oysters. Try the tuna tartare too. In fact everything we tried was yummy. Service is very good...too.More

Found a coupon for this place and decided to go with a friend before doing some Christmas shopping in the outdoor plaza next door. What an amazing cozy place! From the cowhide covering the chair seats to the very friendly staff! The salmon tartare is...an absolutly amazing mouthwatering plate! Served in a Martini glass with won ton chips to scoop with, down to the delicious potatoes with just enough spice to give it a little kick! Don’t let the menu scare you when you see crêpes made with pink grapefruit beer or the tartare with rice krispies,. Be sure to start off with a nice mimosa first. The chef is a young woman with amazing culinary skills. The wait person was very friendly and knowledgeable . Looking forward to another visit, soon!More

We stayed 2 nights in a AirBnb condo around the corner, that's how we came across the "La Betise". And I do not exaggerate when I say it was the best meal on our whole trip. Of course you eat better in the east of...Canada than in the USA anyway, but nevertheless - we have often talked about it afterwards. I love Tapas and in combination with the asian elements - really great! I honestly can't remember what we have eaten, but everything was delicious! Also for my friend, she is a vegetarian, there was enough choice. Really nice staff, too. We loved this place and if I ever come back to Montreal, I'll eat there again for sure! Highly, highly recommended!More

Me and my girl were out and searching for oysters when I remember that this wonderful restaurant has a 1$ special on Mondays and Wednesdays. It was still early in the day so we had space on the terrasse witch is very beautiful. We had...a couple Paloma's some bubbles and so much tasty oysters. The waiter was excellent and the service as usual very friendly and quick. Defiantly love this restaurant and menu. Thanks guys!More

I discovered La Bêtise in a food festival a few years back when I tried their salmon tartar. Ever since, I've been bringing my friends and family to this restaurant as all of their tapas are simply delicious (the tartar is still my personal favorite!)....The service is great and the ambiance is nice. There is a very small terrace during summer. It is not in the trendiest neighbourhood (Yet... The neighbourhood is in a slow revitalization) but you'll find enjoyable to be able to walk on the Plaza St-Hubert for drinks and shopping before of after your meal.More

To start off, I loved the place when I first walked in, small but perfect size. They have 2 sittings - 630 or 830pm . Carlos the mixologist. Makes fantastic drinks . Puts his heart in soul into all of them. Very friendly and helpful...staff. Food is tapas style and very tasteful- enjoyable. They have a speciality dessert. You'll know what I'm talking about once you see it on the menu. I was surprised to see the owner "Douglas" Help out and greet the customers. Very friendly man. Thank you guys for a great evening . I'll be back very soon either my wife.More

I love oysters and this place has 1$ oysters on Mondays and Wednesdays. They are quite tiny but still :) So since we were still hungry we had the filet mignon poutine and the mac and cheese cochon - both excellent. They wine list is...shot but interesting as they have a lot of private importation. Little neighborhood restaurant with no pretention with excellent smilly friendly service.More

Upper St Hubert is a great spot for dining on a terrace and La Betise does not disappoint. The flavours of the foods are incredible - even down to the salad dressing. Our group of 6 had a great meal (many tapas plates - 14 kinds I think) while enjoying the vibe. It is a very unique establishment, with great food and a super friendly and dedicated staff. I would definitely go back. Choose whatever sounds good...to you, everything we tried was worth ordering again!More
