Being from Los Angeles which is also known as Tehrangeles due its large population of Iranians, I have been to lots of great Persian Restaurants, so five star does not come so easy. I went to Amu Jan mid day, it was not crowded. The...name means Dear or Sweet Uncle, and endearing word in Farsi. The menu was adequate and the food was good. I enjoyed my first Persian mean in a month. I had the Zereshg Polo with Chicken. Zereshg is Barberrys which are not a common item in US markets. It is a cross between Cranberries (sourish and red) and tinier like raisins. It adds a great flavor to Basmati Rice served in good Persian Restaurants.More
