Owner is extremely RUDE! Came outside while we were waiting and yelled at us not to stand in his doorway and not lean on his railing.....wow. No wonder it's empty.....

23 yrs old but still good bistro food and warm service . Decor hasn' t changed - it could do with a refresher and a little more pleasant background music.

After Toronto and fine dinning in very expensive restaurants, In Montreal we decided to take it easy and have what we've thought would be more authentic and less expensive. Cannot really brand Le Grand Comptoir as cheep but after dinning there with 2 small kids...More
