Chic and hip Portuguese restaurant with some traditional elements (old ceramic tile behind the bar area). Expensive but delicious Portuguese cuisine. Service was a bit slow. Great wine list. All our meals were tasty. The dessert sampler was sumptuous.

It is expensive, but the service and food are quite good. I had a drink, a salad, the black cod and a dessert, and it was over CA$100. But I felt good about the experience.

Ferreira Cafe is definitely not a "paella and garlic shrimp" place; it's a sophisticated, comfortable, well-staffed Portuguese restaurant featuring authentic seafood and land-based entrees. Service was terrific, the environment was enjoyable, and our overall experience was very good.

nightfall transforms from a business district into a
youth-culture hotspot, with hip bars, clubs, and

It is said that laughter and good times are fuelled by exquisite food. All of these can be found at Ferreira Cafe, Montreal's veritable ambassador of Portuguese cuisine. Warm and refined, while chic and relaxing, Ferreira Cafe continues to be a true favorite of among Montrealers.
