I don't think I've had a worse experience of customer service in a restaurant. The restaurant was busy with Mother's Day customers, and our wait for a table wasn't that long. Our waiter was unfriendly, almost irritable, and offered no help in advising us on our choices. We waited a long time for the first dishes to arrive. Okay--so far,... More

The service is soooooo slow every time I go. It is always difficult to get a server to first take our order, but even more so to receive our food. This being said, in comparison with what one may find in the actual China-Town, the food is better at Kam Shing's. Prices are reasonable for the overall experience. Most of... More

The atmosphere is nothing special but the food more than makes up for it. Service has always been fine.

Recently was craving Chinese food, went to pick it up, wasn't expensive but also was not edible! I had the chicken with crunchy noodles and vegetables which was edible for about 5 bites but the tom yum soup and beef and broccoli went straight to the garbage

This place was originally across the street .It was opened by a waiter at Fung Shing downtown. The food and service is just as great as fung shing although the place is newer and quite larger the quality is next none. The menu is a carbon copy of the other place but if you live in the Jean Talon area around TMR... I went to this establishment for lunch with my wife and we were presently surprised because the food was very good. I had an excellent won ton soup that actually had flavour and you did not need to add soya sauce. My wife had the General Tao and crispy noodles and it was delicious. I had the Orange Beef with... Kam Shing on Cote des Neiges Road has gone DOWNHILL over the years. Our recent visit was hugely disappointing. The General Tao chicken was disgusting and not edible. The pieces of chicken were SO hard it was a struggle to cut with a knife, let alone bite into. When we brought this to the attention of the wait staff, they... More

The staff is just terrible, rude, doesn't smile. The food it's just as good as any resto in chinatown, nothing exceptional just average. Doesn't worth the wait and the waiters attitude.

Went out for dinner on our recent visit to Montreal, wanted to have some good Chinese, We stayed with what we knew and went to Kam Shing. The food and service was good. The only disappointment was the General Tao, it had a different flavor than what I remember. Regardless, other than that it was great,

We went to celebrate my nephews birthday. All the food was excellent, service wonderful, portions plentiful. Enjoyed everything and will definitely go again.
