As expected, there was a line down the block when we arrived around 11AM. We came during the week after Christmas as a group of 4. We waited for a little less than an hour and in my opinion, it was totally worth it! I...really loved the pecan french toast and the multiple drinks we had. The space itself is small and tight, but staff is super friendly, there are a ton of options, and they all taste great!More

Very disappointed. I ordered French toast, as I wanted to try something other than eggs; I added a side of bacon. Needless to say, thank goodness I ordered the bacon. All I got on my plate was the ONE slice of French toast. That's it,...that's all!! No slice of any fruit to garnish not even a sprig of parsley. Very very cheap. Even La Belle Province gives you a beautiful plate ,regardless of what you order, and the price is better. Very sad to see the cheap approach for a very expensive slice of toast.More

This is a trendy restaurant with fantastically delicious food. The service is quick, friendly and efficient! I always want to eat breakfast here. The portions are huge. My absolute favorite is Sweet, Savory and Crunchy Eggs Benedict! .

We had been planing to come to this place since we arrived in Montreal so we expected the wait time. We arrived around 11pm on a Monday and waited about 20 minutes. We sat out in the patio. I got the Sweet, Savory + Crunchy...and my husband got the one that comes with everything. It was pretty good! They serve huge portions, I couldn’t finish mine. Their orange juice is also delicious and you can tell it’s freshly squeezed. Overall it was a good visit. Lots of waiting, including a bit of a wait for the food. Definitely check it out if you have the time!More

The spot is cute and located in a great area, but the food was very average in my opinion. We had to wait in line almost 30 minutes for a table. Music was a bit loud and clubby. Dishes were large and heavy. My duck...Benedict had little flavor and felt more like a blob of gravy covering my entire place making the English muffin soggy. It was horrible! The service was VERY slow. When I got my smoothie to go (they don’t even have proper to go containers), I saw the server push in my straw with her fingers on the tip top where my mouth is supposed to go, which is unsanitary. I do not recommend. Go somewhere cuter and charming.More

I Knew of this restaurant from seeing the huge lineups for brunches. However, it seems they just started offering dinner menu us this week, and we were extremely happy with this change. My friends and I were walking west on our way to a Mexican...restaurant when the L’Avenue’s owner stopped me to say hello and offered us a complimentary glass of bubbly. We weren’t special, it was an opening night promotion, but I put my cynicism aside and coerced my friends to sit and check it out. We sat on the terrasse and enjoyed a wonderful evening. They had a small menu - which I always see as a good sign. The four of us chose a different appetizer and main. Every one of them was perfectly prepared and generously portioned. I’m hoping they can maintain these prices (very reasonable considering) and quality after the glow of opening fades, and the realities of food cost margins hit. I’ll remain optimistic because I’d really like to make L’Avenue a regular choice for sharing great food with good friends.More

Cute little brunch spot downtown. Food and service was great. Really busy but the wait for seating inside or out.

Actually the worst... I was so excited for this brunch as I am VERY obsessed with brunch. I have been to several brunch places in my area that are by far better than this place. "Cool" ambiance clearly over hyped. I don't go to restaurants...for the mood but the food. My food came cold, the service was absent. My cappuccino was the worst cappuccino I have had in Canada so far. So expensive for what the food was, i had classic eggs, potatoes and pancake. It was actually the worst I've had, out of all the other places I've tried. I'm so disappointed in this place I've taken the time to write this review. I can't believe people actually line up for hours on the weekend to eat here.More

I had the duck confit Benedict. Can I say DEELISH?!?! It was awesome. The only thing I didn’t like about this place was that it was way too loud for noon weekday. But I highly recommend

We arrived at the Laval Location on St Martin Blvd , not yet registered on Trip Advisory. Nice location and decor . I ordered a blueberry 🫐 ice tea , my friends ordered coffee . My husband had water . We checked out the extensive...menu, and my friends had eggs & bacon 🥓, I tried their avocado toast , came with a side salad which was way too vinegary , so I didn’t finish it , the avocados slices were very fresh , the country bread was Schmeared with a red hummus, and some salty cheese cubes on top . Pics to follow . My husband ordered the Nutella strawberry French toast , you could only eat one piece , the slices were very large . The atmosphere is very young and interesting decor / the music was loud that you had to shout to be heard . The waiter ( Elie )went out of his way to help my friend who has food intolerances.More

I arrived at brunch time (10 something) on a weekday and was seated almost immediately. The terrace was full but there was space inside. By the time I left there was a long line. The food was all very good, and the portions huge. I...thought I was quite hungry going in, but could only finish a bit over half of my food. I had the Bobby Goes to Seoul and an Oreo Milkshake. Staff were all nice.More
