Our waiter Mario was amazing! He was engaging, helpful and very professional! The food was outstanding, and grilling it yourself made for a fun evening too! Leave room for dessert! They were all delicious!

Davina, Vincent & the whole crew helped make a dream come true! Incredible venue, great value & high quality (delicious!) Raclette Experience. and that's just the start. They worked with me to facilitate a surprise ( ring box hidden under a chocolate dome!) proposal. Gave...us a secluded table, Vincent was totally attentive & the surprise brought tears to our eyes! it is a much better "local" experience (& price) than the old Town / Old Port area. GO THERE!!More

Had to be in the area and decided to eat here as well. Nice ambience and service. We kept things simple with the two course fondue which included a sweet potato soup with bacon and sour cream. We debated the 3 course which included the...choice of an appetizer plus a dessert. I think one of us could have gotten the 3 course to taste a bit more on the menu but when ordering we didn’t know just how much food it would be. The plates came with a piece each of red pepper, blanched broccoli and cauliflower and several small potatoes. There were 5 (I think) types of thinly sliced meats including a Swiss ham. So the servings were not large but a nicely presented variety. A large jar of gherkins and a basket of large croutons of their bread accompanied the plates. The fondue was very good with the hint of wine and garlic. I admit I would have preferred the bread to have a bit of crispness to contrast to the cheese and next time I might sneak in some slices of crispy apple as a contrast as well. Nice meal, would do the 3 course next time.More

My husband and I went here for his birthday, and we were blown away by how perfect it was. It’s a little off the beaten path, but that’s what made it charming. After spending the day playing tourist, it was nice to escape the crowds...and enjoy a romantic, cozy spot with ambiance and delicious food. Fair warning—the portions are huge, so come hungry!!More

Great place for couples or small groups to enjoy some fondue, with an interesting price point, where a couple is able to share cheese fondue with a generous plate of dips plus drinks for around 90 dollars.

If you like raclette or traditional Swiss fondue, this is the place to come. They have a lovely selection but the fondue is the cheese type only, meaning it is pre-cooked meats and veggies you will dip lovingly into the melted cheese. The restaurant has...a great ambiance, nice wine selection and attentive service. We had a great meal topped off by an absolutely delicious chocolate dome, that melted when the hot caramel was poured over top, I hit with my daughter. Highly recommended for a memorable meal!More

La Raclette is hands down the best, most authentic, fondue restaurant in the city. I've been traveling to Montreal for years and upset I just visited the restaurant for the first time. The atmosphere is quintessential Montreal. Beautiful outside terrace with heaters for the winter...and a delightful interior filled with original art pieces made from the staff. On that point, service is exceptional and highly attentive. The quality of the food is exceptional and servers take their time to explain all of the options. At the end of our meal, we had an opportunity to meet the owner, Dianita, who gave us a tour of the restaurant and a free dessert. She made sure we were well taken care of and enjoyed our time. Ask if she is around the next time you go, you won't regret it! Also, BYOB. Must I say more? Avoid the fake fondues in the Old Port, make your way to Montreal's hidden treasure - La Raclette.More

My boyfriend and I came to have dinner on a Saturday night. The restaurant's ambience was lovely, when we got there we were greeted warmly by the owner of the restaurant right away. Our waitress was friendly and gave such detailed overview of the menu...and our fondue options (it was my first time eating fondue). The cheese and marinated meats were delicious, and fresh. Everything was perfect. We will come back! Thank you, Dianita and team!More

We were four adults that had dinner at this restaurant on September 21, 2019. Since it was a beautiful warm evening in Montreal, we decided to eat on the terrace. We were very lucky as we managed to get the last table for 4 people....Once we placed our orders, we were brought delicious bread. Our waitress was Judith. She was excellent. Very efficient & attentive. In terms of the first course, one guest chose the Gaspacho. The other guest selected the melted raclette cheese. Both guests were delighted with their choices. My partner also selected the melted raclette cheese. A thumbs up for that dish!! My first course was the prettiest of the four dishes! I had the fresh bio salmon carpaccio, local raspberries, house made tartar sauce & crispy onions!! It was superb!! This restaurant does not have a liquor license so you are permitted to bring your own wine (but not beer). We had the Saint Véran (white) from France. The second bottle of wine was the Château Gaillard. A red Bordeaux from France. Both were excellent. In terms of the main course, one guest had the fish of the day (trout) papillote, cheese crumble, veggies & fresh oregano. The second guest had grilled beef steak (filet mignon) with heirloom tomatoes, basil, nuts, and romesco sauce. Both guests said their dishes were amazing! My partner's main course was the crusted lamb rack with artichoke daude & seasonal vegetables. There was not so much as a crumb left on the plate! Another success!! My main course was the Zurich style sliced veal, cream sauce, parika, wine and mushrooms. Not only was it beyond delicious but it was also a very generous portion! In terms of desserts the two guests plus yours truly had the 72% melted chocolate dome with butterscotch, vanilla ice cream, pound cake & berry fruits. It was amazing!! My partner had the Zuger Kirschtorte, a specialty cake from Zug, Switzerland. It was served with almond meringue, kirsch, genoise and butter cream. Apparently it was out of this world!! Washrooms were super clean. In conclusion, it was a five star meal and a delightful way to pass an evening. You won't regret eating at this restaurant!!More

My daughter's boyfriend is from France and they now make Montreal their home. I came out for a surprise visit and they took me here last Wednesday evening to celebrate my birthday. They put a table top warmer on the table and had small cooked...potatoes and cooked veggies on the top. You are then given a plate with dried meats, and slices of cheese along with some greens. You put your cheese in the tray and put over the heat and let it melt. In the meantime you put your potatoes, meat, veggies in a small pile and pour the cheese over it. If I had to put it in American terms I would say it was like a wonderful baked potatoe with this fantastic cheese. They are closed for 3 months in the summer, because this is a winter dish, perfect with the snow outside the windows.More
