A friend ordered dinner for my birthday on a Saturday, we received our order at 2 p.m. which is not the negative point, the starters for two were still good but less tasty, let's just say I didn't have the hummmm that I was hoping for. As a dish we took a chicken skewer, but as if by magic it was grilled chicken breasts and potatoes, both so dry that I wondered if it wasn't leftovers from the day before, the salad was very nice on the other hand, but we don't really order for a salad, I really don't recommend ordering dinner, oh yes I forgot the bread was also very dry. However we had already ordered for a dinner and it was really WOW but no.

Each time I go at this table I'm never disappointed of my fried calamari dish. The sea food is perfectly cooked, tender as butter and the breading around them is fluffy whit a touch of butter. The generous plate always included two baby calamaris lightly crispy. Add some fresh lemon juice and your meal will be a delight one. If you choose that menu whit the table d'hĂ´te you will have a delicious lentil soup for appetizer, salad and potatoes whit the main dish and a tasty baklava for desert. 30$ including the tip is an honest price for such a feast. You can bring your wine at this restaurant!

Le Jardin de Panos has been our favorite restaurant since the 90’s when we lived in Montreal. When we moved back to the states, we continued to reminisce about our many delicious meals there and wanted to bring our now grown children. We finally did last night and it did not disappoint! We all loved our meals (various brochettes) and now our children understand when we can’t stop talking about how amazing it is! It remains our very favorite restaurant!

Perfect for groups but it's not great Greek gastronomy: the menu hasn't really changed in 20 years. I always take pikilia to get as many flavors as possible. Unfortunately there were no more beans (one of my favorite dishes) in the dish. Our server was a regular, possibly the manager. Very effective and without fuss. // Perfect for groups, but not great Greek gastronomy: the menu hasn't really changed in 20 years. I always go for the pikilia to get as much flavor as possible. I have been going to this restaurant for more than 30 years now. Same quality of food and service over the years. It is always a pleasure to go back. Cheers to the owner and all the staff that came and went during all these years, keep up the good ambiance, service and quality of food! Merci!! :)

Sad to see how bad this place has become. Used to be one of my favourites because I'm Greek, but the spanakopita today was literally inedible. I told the kitchen but was charged for it anyway. I will never come back here again.

Based on 2 dinners: each dish is well prepared, basic array of Greek cuisine; lentil soup was especially good, salads with fresh ingredients, main course dishes acceptable.
This is a very popular and busy place, noisy; service is good and prompt.

Friends had been talking about going here. Although it took forever to find parking, we arrived without reservations and waited but were seated after a short 15 minute wait. We sat in a large interior courtyard that was really nice and set up with a louvered roof that could be closed if it began raining. Service was quick and friendly. We had the tzatziki which was delicious but pricey at $7.50 for a small plate. Then we had the fried calamari which was good but not great. That was $12 for a smallish portion. Finally we had the chicken breast and the chicken brochette. The chicken was perfectly prepared and juicy. Plate was a nice size for $22. Kinda reminds me of restaurants like Aux Vieux Duluth or Casa Grec bit a notch up. Would go back.

We called ahead for our order. It nice surprise we didnt have to pay for parking as the spot in front of the resto gave 15min free!
We order for dinner. There is a sanitation station as you enter the resto and then a receptionist who takes care of payment.
They also now sell their olive oil, salad dressing and their mustard marinade. Reasonably priced.
Can't wait to come back to the resto!

This place has been slowly going downhill for years. But a new low for us last night; a disgusting insect in our food. Avoid this place!

Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
