We were not offered any refills on our drinks Nor desert We felt like we were annoying the staff There is no menu The dishes choices were explained to us very expediently Very weird experience
A beautiful classic Italian restaurant in Little Italy. Loved the food, the atmosphere, our waitress — It was all perfect!
Good wines (red and white). Excellent house salads to start. Pasta of the day (gemelli), cioppino as good as I have had anywhere, Friendly and efficient service.
Restaurant Luca is located in little Italy ,is for me one of the best Italian restaurants in Montreal .The food and the service are always exceptional .If your craving for pasta ,fish ,sea food or meat they got you covered .Anthony and Danny who runs...the show make it even more special with their awesome service .keep up the good work guys .More
We were hungry, thirsty and looking for JUST something to eat (it was around 2pm) The young polite server took us inside and told us the restaurant close at 2:30 but not to worry, we have time and no rush! It turned out we had...the most delicious Italian meal. You have to try it yourself to see how good it is!!More
Thank you very much! We're happy you enjoyed your lunch.
We just came back from a terrible dinner at Lucca. We had not been in over a year and it was horrible. We wonder if there is a new chef. The linguine pescatore left a lot to be desired; the fish of the day was...a mushy over cooked cod. The service was very lax. Will not go back!More
Hello Laura, We are sorry to hear that you had a negative experience and appreciate you taking the time to provide feedback. Ristorante Lucca takes a lot of pride in what we put on our menu and we are very disappointed to hear you thought...More
What makes this place the best is the FOOD. Last night we had figs stuffed with goat cheese and wrapped with speck, also we had stuffed zucchini blossoms for appetizers. We would drive several hundred miles just to have these appetizers.
Thank you very much for the positive feedback! We love those summer dishes as well. Hope to see you again soon.
Went to Lucca for lunch with my husband. Small cosy restaurant in Little Italy. We both had the seafood linguini. Lunch menu comes with bruschetta, soup or salad followed by tiramisu and espresso. One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back!
We are so happy you had an incredible meal.
This is a small restaurant in Little Italy. It’s very homey. The menu is posted on a chalkboard and changes regularly. Everything is excellent. Service is wonderful. I’ve already been there twice in one month. Highly recommend.
The food is great. The service is good. The atmosphere is a bit noisy and because it was so hot and humid outside so was the inside.
Wandered in here for lunch on a snowy April day and loved the place. We were welcomed and immediately presented with thick slices of tomato bruschetta and greeted by our server who walked us through the half-dozen or so items on the blackboard menu, ranging...from pastas to a filet to fish. Each item included either a bowl of soup or a salad, making for a filling (and delicious) meal that ranged in price from C$22-31. The room is lovely - vibrant without being cramped, elegant in its design.More
The owners have a wonderful focus on creating special occasions over food. The menu has many good options. Wine list equally great. Dessert might be the best part. A definite go to restaurant.
Lucca is a must for anybody wanting a traditional Italian meal in Montreal. It i situated on Dante Street in the heart of Little Italy. I tried the tomato and mozzarella salad and found it to be very good - they use excellent tomatoes and...mozzarella with outstanding olive oil. As a main I had the sea food linguine. The dish was packed with well cooked seafood with the pasta was cooked just right. My wife had a veal dish and she found it to be very good. If visiting Montreal, I recommend taking a ride to Little Italy and try Lucca.More
I have been there a few times during the week. It is a favorite for one of my American couple who will lunch after shopping in the Jean Talon Market. The food is of the highes quality as it is sourced at the market including...seafood at only 3 blocks away. It is upscale with exceptional service. There is some parking behind the restaurant but underground parking at the Jean Talon market is cheap compared to street parking. It is a very worthwhile experience.More
