I had a seafood platter delivered to me last week. it had been so long since I had had a beautifully presented meal, let aloe a seafood platter. Everything was prepared with such care. The crabs legs were incredibly meaty, and the mussels were delicious....The oysters weren't my favourite, but overall, everything was great!More

I usually love coming to this place. The seafood is always very good. I was a little disappointed during my last visit. I had ordered a small seafood plateau of 66$ and we ended up with the big plateau of 150$. The waitress insisted that...I said the big one but I’m 110% sure I said small. She didn’t even seem worried about her mistake she just wanted to blame the customer. She also brought us a bottle of wine that we didn’t order so it shows me that she was mixed up in her orders! If it wasn’t for the bad service I got, I would recommend this place. I don’t think I’ll be going again. Sorry.More

First outing for a meal since Montreal opens up. The staff and layout made us feel very comfortable considering the news. Food and service was excellent. I was disappointed with some of the clients complaining about having to wear masks and having the tables socially...distanced. Hard to understand there are people who do not understand how difficult idt has been for the restaurant business. Maestro keep up with your excellent service!!More

This place is 100% a tourist trap with its oyster shells signed by celebrities in the front entrance. Here are a few of the critiques I have about this place: 1. The food, not only way over price ($6 an oyster?!?!) it also severely lacked...flavour and the presentation was subpar. I got the seafood linguine (the sauce was almost flavorless and needed salt). I was super underwhelmed. 2. OUR FOOD TOOK ALMOST 2 HOURS TO COME OUT. When we asked where our food was the server proceeded to say since our patio is open we have to serve a lot more customers for the food takes longer. This is beyond unacceptable. First off the restaurant indoors wasn't full. Secondly, if you are going to open a patio with I would guess 50 or more seats to serve and a festival going on in the streets you need to either ensure you have enough kitchen staff to be able to accomodate for the increase in customers OR stop seating customers! 3. The server got my order wrong which is fine because mistakes happen. HOWEVER the server was extremely rude and proceeded to go over to the computer check what she had punched in, come back over to me and tell me no you ordered this and this. I know what I ordered and I can tell you what you were trying to give me was not it! Also she never apologized which at this point I was already so hangry I didn't care anymore. I will say though that the drinks came out promptly but because our food took so long all the ice melted so they were watered down by the time our food got there. I recommend never coming into this place unless you want to pay for overpriced tasteless food and a long wait.More

The sea bass was cooked perfectly yet I fail to see the attraction of pickled onions. A simple brown butter would have been sweet. Mussels were nice but again the Provencal sauce was lacking flavor. Herbs? They love onions here. Red velvet cake on the...dry side. Pricey dinner for two $170, without cocktails.More

Without a doubt this restaurant is great for dinner. My wife and I made a reservation here based on a friend's recommendation and we were not disappointed. The food is excellent and the service wonderful. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her mussels dish. I had the...tuna and it was excellent. After dinner we shared some desserts which were a great closing to a perfect meal.More

Ended up here by accident, having had reservations at Diablos next door for BBQ but they closed early. Maestro was a very nice atmosphere and the food was delicious. Thanks for saving the evening.

The oysters were fabulous, the meals very good & the service extraordinary. Nicole was our server & did a great job steering us when choosing our wine and meals. What a dynamo!!! She never stopped moving between guests while providing great customer service. If we're...ever back in Montreal, Maestro S.V.P. will be a stop & we will request Nicole be our server.More

fully booked up, but the made space at the bar. Great meal and wine, well paced and attentive service, really enjoyed the meal. Would return. Among other things, they have about a half dozen diferent mussel sauces I want to try.
