We are a family owned authentic Thai restaurant with our chefs having roots cooking since the early 1990s. We take pride in our great authentic cuisine, friendly service and the fact that our customers love to come back and try new dishes
We ordered takeout to celebrate our anniversary and enjoyed every bite! We ordered a variety of foods including seafood, duck, noodles, and dumplings. All were amazing.. Great service made it a perfect experience. We will be ordering here again.
You know when you want to escape Thai Express” and have something special? DO NOT ORDER the tofu vegetarian pad Thai at this restaurant. $20 later I had soggy and chewy tofu with less veggies than Thai express! In addition they had omitted any spice...so the flavour was bland. More rice noodles than anything I threw half of the dish away.:( and I hate to waste food but it was that bad!)More
After reading the positive reviews of Phayathai we thought we’d try it out.
We had chicken pad Thai and the red curry. It was really poor and nothing like authentic Thai food. Chicken was dry and the pad Thai was very sweet in an odd...(must’ve been packet) sauce - the interpretation of Thai recipes was awful. We could, unfortunately, only eat 1/4 of each dish. AC was super strong and made our food cold quickly.
Starters were good and manager reduced the price for us but we won’t be going back.More
Cozy setting with sufficient space for even large groups. Very good customer service. Reservation is definitely recommended. We ordered the wonton and tomyum as starters. The wonton was crisy and crunchy with tender meat inside. The tomyum was really good too. For mains we ordered...chicken with green curry, garlic prawns, basil fried rice and curry lamb which was out of this world. The garlic prawns were just ok. The chicken had bold flavours and perfectly complemented the fried rice. Pricewise is a bit on the higher end but its definitely worth it.
Going back again next time I'm in Montreal.More
