We don't usually like to eat in restaurants inside hotels but this was an exception. It was recommended by someone who visits Montreal often and always has a meal at Holder. The flat iron steak was superb and the fries were fab. The restaurant is...More

My wife's metrics were pretty simple, local flavor, fresh breadbasket and a good wine list :) Holder delivered a wonderful evening and some great food. We showed up without much knowledge of the food offerings, and our bilingual waitress Catherine was terrific in explaining the...More

This was my first visit to Holders. My date had reserved a table by the window, which was lovely. It is a compact little restaurant, so the tables are placed fairly close together. That being said, I was barely aware of the people at the...More

The service was great as was the menu selection, however without a reservation we could only have the table for two hours. By 9 pm the place was full and it was vibrant.

Everything were ordered was delicious. Menu is in French but had translations. Would we go back, yes. We tried their beef tartare, goat cheese, onion soup, beef cheeks and flank steak. Needless to say we were all full and felt it was money well spent.

This restaurant is handy to Old Montreal and this is the fourth time I have had dinner here. Clearly, it is a popular restaurant so arriving early or making reservation is necessary on busy nights. The liver pate was excellent as a shared appetizer...I had...More

Walked to this local restaurant with some colleagues on a recommendation from a local and we were not disappointed. The onion soup was great and the Mahi special of the day was also very good. The chocolate mouse was excellent and large enough to share....More

My family and I were recently in Montreal, a fabulous city. We stumbled across the restaurant Holders by accident and gave it a try. So glad we did. The staff are friendly and professional. The atmosphere is lovely. And, the food is fabulous. You could...More

The historic centre of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to

I agree. Probably give them a call, from my memory of my visit I think 45 could be a little tight.
