Four of us ate at Lanterne and while we found the food to be quite good, the service was lacking. One person ordered soup which arrived quickly. The other three diners ordered the same appetizer, two of which were served about 5 minutes later, and...More

Great BYOW in the village and service is always super and with a smile. Food is delicious and prepared/presented a little more high end than your typical standard Asian cuisine. The price included. On my recent visit with a group of friends, my order arrived...More

The east-Asian dishes are excellent and the presentation is very nice. Most of all, the prices are unbelievably low for the quality and quantity of the food served. The restaurant is relatively small and very busy, so you definitively need reservations. The service is courteous...More

I was a bit skeptic, to be honest. But when I arrived there I really liked the intimate, romantic feeling and nice decor. The service was friendly (albeit somewhat slow - 1 waiter and was half full). I usually try some form of a Papaya...More

Our last night in Montreal we were looking for something different. This was a great choice. The restaurant lighting is muted, simple design and spotless. The presentation of our meals was lovely, with a carrot carved into a flower on one dish. Fresh and tasty...More

I think this was the best meal we had while in Montreal. The food was fabulous. The service was outstanding. I would recommend this resaurant to anyone who enjoys Thai cuisine and is visiting Montreal.

The Village (Gay Village)
The rainbow pillars of Beaudry Métro Station shepherd
the way into to The Village, one of the largest hubs
for gay and lesbian culture in North America. With an
open layout and a congenial aura, the refurbished
buildings along Rue Sainte-Catherine pay a special
homage to menswear and to caffeine, with showrooms and
cafes. By morning, the antiquing gems along Amherst
Street are packed with collectors. An incredible party
