Enjoyed a late evening supper at W & G after arriving in Montreal on a delayed flight from Edmonton. Menu choices were numerous at reasonable prices. Both food and service was exceptional. Also within walking distance of the Omni Hotel where we were staying.

I had the funghi di bosco (pasta with mushrooms, truffle paste and parmesan) and it was awesome. They do serve very large portions too, so you may be able to make it into two meals. Our waitress was very friendly and offered great suggestions for...More

You must make reservations for this restaurant! We arrived on Friday evening on time and were seated promptly. There were people waiting without reservations, so very happy that we arrived on time and did not have to wait. Hubby ordered the lasagna and it was...More

Excellent place for lunch or dinner. Really cool bar. Nice building. Outstanding choices for pizza, pasta and other Italian fare. Friendly staff, lively atmosphere, great location. Good value too.

This was our third time back to Wienstein & Gavino's. It has been delicious each time! The warm bread and pesto/oil for dipping is just so good. The ambiance is great and my teenagers always enjoy their meals as well.

While it has a great atmosphere, the poor service made the experience overall a poor one. We were quickly seated and given menus but then it was 20 minutes until someone came back and then I had to ask to order cocktails first. The odd...More

Visited for an early dinner and were directed upstairs. Server was pleasant, but not overly attentive. Premeal bread was lovely and the appetizer soup (a carrot puree, I think) was very tasty. The entree was a forgettable seafood linguini alfredo. Plenty of shrimp but the...More

Very good place, beautiful decoration, good assortment of spirits. Cocktails, notably the Old Fashionned, are well excuted. Just one slight note of caution, a lack of smile of the bartender. That being said, i really recommend the place.
