The service here was fantastic, they provided us (on the house) with a glass of Prosecco each as well as some bruschetta. We were already impressed. We ordered something that wasn't really on the menu but I suggest asking for it. It's called trio di vitello. It is served with pasta and it is basically veal served 3 different ways... More

We met our cousin who we had not seen in quite a while at the Jean Talon Market in Montreal's Italian District so we wanted to eat at a good restaurant nearby. I Sensi was a 5 minute walk from there. The food was delicious and the selection of Italian wines was excellent. Service was second to none since we... More

Took the bus from Vieux Montreal on a rainy evening and were not disappointed! It was a quiet evening in the restaurant which we enjoyed after the bustle of the past few days. My husband choose the snapper which was fish of the day and I let the person waiting on us choose a pasta dish, a great farfelle with... More

We avoided the touristy fare offered in the Old city section completely. One look at the menus and we began our search in the lesser travelled parts of town. Visit Little Italy, 10 minutes from Old Montreal--- lots of restaurants. We chose I Sensi based on a few reviews of the menu. The restaurant is beautifully decorated in minimalsist contmeporary... Had dinner here with friends and couldn't have been happier. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. Rather than choose from the menu, we opted to have the chef serve us what he thought was best that night and the culinary delights went on for a couple hours. We had a leisurely starter of tomato bruschetta (good, not... More

The food was amazing and the service was also spectacular. For the quality of food and service it is definitely worth the price. If visit Montreal I would definitely revisit this restaurant.

The food was excellent as was the service. Both the waiter and the owner were very friendly and caring, often coming to see us and ensure everything was OK. The owner and his staff visibly take great pride in creating a family and friendly setting and atmosphere. The meals were not cheap but a very good quality-to-price ratio. The complimentary... More

We spent a spring weekend in Montreal and wanted to visit Little Italy as we had heard lot of good things about it. We were very impressed with the menu and the extensive wine list. The decor is very clean and modern. Everything is made to order, as it should be, so be prepared to wait a little bit. The... More

I read great reviews on this restaurant and we decided this would be the spot for a family meal while visiting Montreal. No one I had asked, concierge at my hotel, another from a different hotel - had even heard of it. I was stubborn and insisted it must be a hidden gem. Boy, was I wrong. We ordered a... More

Service was good. Food was good but not amazing. 3 stars for me. I would give it another try.

Staying in Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension

Neighbourhood Profile
The most ethnically diverse of all of Montreal's neighbourhoods, Villeray-Saint-Michel-Parc-Extension (or, Parc-Ex) stands at the city's centre, a hub for rail and metro traffic. Starting at the old station where the Canadian Pacific used to disembark, the brick-and-mortar surroundings of Parc-Ex have a homey feel, with leafy lawns and bicycle lanes seamlessly incorporated into the landscape. With prominent Greek and Spanish communities, Greektown includes the tastiest stops for brochettes and shawarma, and local bars entertain an excitable soccer fanbase. Jerry Park and Stade Uniprix stand ready for sports diehards to enjoy a game, while the the Complexe Environnemental Saint-Michel and Le Taz skate parks invite athletes to train and compete. Though built for the active and best by day, Cirque du Soleil, the TOHU center for arts, and the Le Boulevard shopping centre offer diversions for those who wish to stay late.
