My favourite wood fired pizza in the city, bar none! You must try the Diavola (spicy pizza) or the Tronchetto (calzone stuffed with cheese), with a Bacio della Bottega (stuffed pizza ball, mushrooms, mozzarella and ricotta topped with rucola and olive oil) to start.

Shame on me. As a Pizza fan, I made a duty of trying new pizza spots, and it just so happened that new places where either in my close neighborhood or downtown where I work. So really, never went out of my shoes to find good napolitan pizza so never really found any since I ate some in Napoli a... More

If you like good pizza, pizza as in Napoli, you do not need to fly to Italy, just go to the Bottega. Their wine list is very good and affordable. We started by sharing aranchi good as in Sicily and fresh salads then had pizzas, the best we ate for a long time. The service was very professional and friendly... More

We were in Montreal in August with cousins from Rome, Italy who were visiting us in Toronto and wanted them to try this pizza to compare with Napoletana style pizza they have had in Italy. One cousin said that this was the best pizza he's had in Canada, comes very close to ones he's eaten in Rome. I would have to... More

We had a fabulous time sitting on the outdoor patio enjoying a salad, pizza, bottle of wine and dessert. Everything was done to perfection including the wine recommendation. It was enjoyable watching the people in the neighbourhood and the service was second to none. We highly recommend Bottega.

Lovely little place to have a great bottle of wine and some delicious brick oven pizza. Enjoyed three different kinds of pizza and we all shared!

Simple fresh quality products put together in a classic Italian approach. This is my third visits and I always enjoyed the food. I don't give it a top mark as I find it overpriced.

They have an authentic pizza oven. The pizza is pretty good, but we found that the crust was a little raw in the middle and in my case, there were large areas of the pizza with nothing on it. The size of the pizza is plenty for one person, several of the people at our table were unable to finish... More

Staying in Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie

Neighbourhood Profile
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie
Rosemont-La Petite-Patrie has one of Canada's most prominent Italian communities, with Little Italy concentrated along the convivial bends of Saint-Lawrence Boulevard. Known for its fantastic bars and authentic Italian fare, the domain includes the Jean-Talon Market, the largest public market in North America. Open year-round, sunny months see fruit and vegetable stalls set up outside the main chalet, while blustery weather draws crowds indoors to meat and cheese sellers, spices and truffles stalls, and for regional delicacies such as rare Charlevoix lamb. While the market dictates what's fresh for local restaurateurs, visitors can please more than their palates, taking in the Renaissance architecture and frescos of Madonna della Difesa, the picturesque Rue Saint-Rominique with its cheerful homes and splendid gardens, or the ornamented thoroughfare of Plaza Saint-Hubert.
