Very fancy food. Really liked the flank steak, beef short rib, duck magret, veal sweetbreads, salmon confit and scallop crudo.

The reviews did not steer me wrong. Although I've been living in Montreal for over a year I have not had the privilege of dining at Le Club Chasse et Peche until tonight. I chose this for my b-day dinner and it did not disappoint....Staff were conscientious and friendly. My pork jowl and lobster dish were divine as was my husband's steak and our ravioli appetizer. The Tempranillo wine paired perfectly and the chocolate-praline-coffee dessert was delicious. Loved the cozy, but elegant ambiance too. We will return!More

This was my second time at this incredible Montreal restaurant and once again, an absolutely spectacular dining experience all around! The staff was extremely attentive, friendly, and with great recommendations! We loved every dish we tried! We shared the piglet risotto which was so freaking...awesome. The octopus was nice, but a bit on the chewy side. For our main courses, we shared four dishes; The fish, which was pretty good, the sirloin from PEI, and the venison which were both cooked to perfection, and the pork cheeks and lobster, which was also amazing! The staff really made this evening for us, as we can't thank them enough. Two thumbs way up to Dominique, Gabriel, and Fadia for being such incredible hosts! I can't wait to go back there again! 5 star experience all around!!More

My husband and I visited this spot on an anniversary trip to Montréal. Great ambiance, incredible wine list, and delicious food. What really stood out, though, was the impeccable service. We almost skipped dessert because our dinner had extended long after their closing time, but...our waiter insisted it was no problem. I am glad he encouraged us to stay because the desserts were AMAZING. Make sure to save room! Highly recommend this restaurant!More

Wonderful experience- one of the best ever. The service is immaculate- no grabbing your plate as the last mouthful leaves it, but also no need to search out a server. The food was fabulous and the portions perfect. The flavours were perfectly matched and we...could not have asked for better. We savoured every bite. We’ll go a long way before we have a better dining experience.More

Another amazing evening at the Club. Gabriel proposed a stellar Burgundy Pinot that paired nicely with our selections (lobster, tuna, halibut, pork jowl). From the oyster appetizers, right through to our deserts - Quebec sourced cheese plate - that was served with an absolute "knock-out"...Jura Vin Jaune recommended by sommelier Joris. We were simply delighted by the exceptional quality, remarkable presentation and attentive service of the entire team at Chasse et Peche. After more than 30-ish visits, I can only attest to what a great dining establishment we have the luck of enjoying in Montreal. Kudo's to your team... already looking forward to my next visit!!More

Excellent meal and service at this delightful restaurant with great ambiance. Our meal was fantastic - the pork belly and foie gras risotto was delicious, as was the roasted guinea fowl. Highly recommend.

Delicious meals. We ordered mostly from their special of the day. If you’re hungry, the main meal will not be enough and you should order an appetizer as well.

Tucked away in the old town of Montréal, this was an excellent find. Scallops to die for and the halibut was beautiful. Wine selection was good too. Service great and friendly.

Overall a very pleasant experience. We went with friends and family - a party of five. The dishes were delicious and creative. The hamachi crudo was delicate and elegant - the fish tasted of fresh fish and not overwhelmed by the dressing. The suckling pig...risotto turned out to be a favorite simple and tasty. Scallops - very nice. Octopus panzanella was wonderful with crispy rather than soggy bread. Halibut was perfectly cooked. The surf and turf was super tender pork belly and lobster in a Mexican inspired but French executed adobado sauce -- just the right piquantness. The only minor gripe was that lobster portion was a single claw - I was expecting a tail. The yuzu kumquat dessert was divine. The best part was the service - Amy was attentive and anticipatory but not engulfing. Wine selections are quit good too. We were directed to an excellent Langhe Bianco that went well with the food. Very comfortable seating and decor. A little loud... but it was Saturday night. Overall C&P deserves a Michelin star... or two! Bravo - Merci bien pour une belle soiréeMore

It is a pretty crowded set up with tables fairly close together. I would not recommend it. It is also a very rich complex menu--I am not sure what they would have that a small child would eat. I have been there before... More
