I’m happy to let you know that CSL BBQ has re-opened during the Corona virus for pick up or delivery. I e-mailed my order in advance and called a day before to make sure that they had received it. NOTE: check to see when they...are open as they had new hours for now! When I arrived at 5:30 pm my order was quickly prepared. They have arranged their restaurant so that you have enough distancing between others. Once you pay you are asked to move into the dining room area where you wait for your order. I ordered one chicken breast with a baked potato (not cut). I asked for sour cream which was attached to the bag. It also came with a bun and their BBQ sauce. My wife ordered a Club Sandwich with their delicious fries. It also came with sauce, Cole slaw and bbq sauce. Everything was excellent. They were definitely busy but with Sean at the helm everything ran very smooth. Enjoy!More

Being a chicken lover I have tried quite a few chicken restaurants in Montreal. If you are looking for a great barbeque chicken, this is the place for you. Lets start with the coleslaw and chicken soup. Both are perfection. The slaw is crispy, peppery...and not too vinegary. The soup is loaded with chicken, cabbage and carrots. The good stuff. The chicken is tender, never dry, never salty and always perfectly cooked. The fries are freshly cut. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The sauce. What can we say? The best. A bit spicy and thick, so it hugs whatever you dip in it. This is the only place I will eat. A must try.More

I can't get enough of this place. Went there the other day for lunch and had the hot chicken sandwich.......the best. Absolutely love their coleslaw. Best lunch deal in town.

What a great local restaurant with great chicken. We arrived for a Friday supper and were quickly seated. We started our supper with their delicious homemade chicken soup! It’s almost a meal. Shortly afterwards, our waitress brought us our main dish, excellent BBQ Chicken breast,...one with their addicting fries, perfectly fried and the other with a perfectly baked potato with sour cream. Though the Côte St. Luc location has been remodeled the food hasn't changed a bit. Still the best rotisserie chicken in the city. Quarter chicken breast or leg is served with a generous amount of fries, a bun, dipping gravy and a choice between coleslaw...or chicken soup. Wow. What a meal. Besides eating in the restaurant, they have a huge takeaway business. A great value.More

Best BBQ Chicken I've had in a long time! Visiting home is not complete without a good BBQ chicken meal in the 514. Cote St. Luc BBQ serves large portions, so have an appetite! Service was great too, very attentive even though it was Saturday...dinner time. Highly recommended.More

We went for Friday night supper and everything was perfect. Our waitress, Maria, was very nice and efficient. We started with one Chicken Soup (almost a meal by itself) and a house salad, nice and fresh, with a lot of dressing to choose from. For...our mains, we both ordered the 1/4 Chicken breast with a delicious baked potato. The chicken was very moist, as expected. It came with a bun, dipping BBQ sauce, butter and sour cream for the baked potato. We were stuffed. You can’t go wrong. Enjoy!More

Usually, I am fond of this restaurant until now. The service came in spurts, After being seated which took 2 minutes, I waited 8 minutes just to get a menu in a restaurant only 2/3 full. 12minutes later, we place our order. Another 7 minutes...for a soup. The main course comes and we are already half way through and TADA. The gravy comes. I usually am a generous tipper but that's for stellar service. This visit was not. I tipped the standard 15% but it was not earned or deserved. I suggest take out or delivery. As for me, it's time for a break from Cote St Luc BBQ.More

I grew up in NDG and this place was a family favorite. I was excited to return to my old neighborhood and revisit some of my childhood memories. Although the interior has changed since the seventies (which one would expect) the food is exactly how...I remember it. Big portions and great flavors. The staff are both friendly and attentive. June 14, 2018. My Spouse and I went to celebrate Cote St. Luc Bar BBQ re 2 can dine for $19.53 re their 65th. Anniversary. We both had the chicken breast which was outstanding. The baked potato was gigantic, fluffy and delicious. My Spouse had...the chicken soup and I had the garden salad. Coffee or a soft drink was included, and delicious birthday cake celebrating their 65th anniversary. We were served by LINDA. She was very fast, efficient, and very friendly. LINDA went the "extra mile" for us. The portions were gigantic and we took home "doggie bags". This restaurant is near Villa Maria Metro. It is on Cote St. Luc Road and it is near the Vista retirement home. The Chicken at Cote St. Luc BBQ in Cote St. Luc is No. 1 "best chicken" in Montreal!!More
