The food is below average. Price is high, quantity is less. Above all the owner is not ready to take feedback. He is too rude when you give feedback about food. Want to give a 0 star

This restaurant was the best dining experience I have had in Montreal in a long time. I visited the Restaurant during the Virus times and we were all seated on the second floor. The space was very interesting, amazing decor, pillows, and ambiance music. The...food was excellent and well presented. I ordered a paneer Veggie Dish with Rice, Naan Bread, and a Mango Lassi. All were really yummy. The service was impressive. I would recommend this place to everyone. You must experience it!More
We decided to get our food delivered. It was a great choice. We loved every bite. The chicken tandoori was spicy and flavorful. The nan bread was delicious. Our other choices were great as well. We got our meal delivered on XMAS eve - great...service.More
Can’t accept the rice is $7 for a bowl!! It’s just simply overpriced and unreasonable!!! We were shocked when we saw the bill. The dishes were okay even they mostly came in different ways than we are used to and we have been to MANY...different Indian restaurants all over the world. The service is not professional at all, the lady owner kept playing with her dog and interrupt the conversation we had with the waitresses. And one of us asked for lime, the waitress never brought it and didn’t even explain why. Will not return and won’t recommend it!!More
I discovered this place this summer and loved it at first bite, good spice and perfect taste of everything on the menu, my best restaurant in that area!
Darbar is one of the best Indian restaurants in Montreal. It features a reinvention of the classic cuisine of Punjab (Northern India). This place has been in Montreal for some time. And for your own culture...Darbar is a Persian term from the Mughal Era of...India. It refers to the place from where Maharajas and Maharanis ruled the people of their land. Indian royalty held courts of justice, made public announcements, and offered common feasts and celebrations from their Darbar.More
I was take in the day of the 'Manifestation pour le climat' and the Owner was so king with people, he give water to every people and dog and me. I eat there later and the meal and the service was so excellent.. Thanks for...people like you exist. I have a great day.More
Really authentic Northern traditional cuisine and having met the family the owns and manages the place after dinner it's certain that they care a great deal about their cuisine and customers. The 2-3 times I've eaten here were all all very good, I like that...you have a choice of cushions cross legged on the floor or at a table. The place is tight and intimate but once inside and settled in that wears off with good service and good food. It's also on a leas than favourable part of boul. St-Laurent but don't let that deter you it's very safe. Definitely recommend as well as for the lunch special that they offer sometimes.Worth the trip.More
Had dinner on their tiny outdoor seating. Food was excellent. Service okish but not great. Restaurant was full so god we had booked. A lot of Indian people there showing good inflexion food.
We had an amazing diner. Maaaaany choices ! Respectable portions and very good food. Yet service was bad: the waiter prepared a doggy bag on the table, we received the bill before we could even finish our dishes... Good address though
