This place is a definite find if you want delicious food topped by friendly and attentive-service. The interior is nothing like the photo. They have white table cloths, nice lighting and a relaxing atmosphere. You have got to try it.

Our concierge at hotel recommended . It was just 5 minutes from our hotel. We were seated but a family of about seven with three school aged children and four adults were being extremely loud so we decided to leave. Our hostess immediately found us a quieter seat with a window seat. She was very accommodating in helping us select... More

Many of the Chinese Restaurants in our area closed early; this place stayed open later, until 10 pm, so, we ordered from here. The food was good. Prices reasonable.

This restaurant is owned by a very nice chinese couple who gives kind and efficient service. The food is delicious, the menu is varied and the portions are large enough. For a very reasonable price, you can eat in a nice atmosphere close to downtown attractions.

Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Big menu, dumplings, soups, apetizers, meats, noodle and rice dishes. Food quality was good-ok.

Was glad when I stumbled on this place to see it served Mu Shu Pork. When I ordered, what I got, however, could be more accurately described as a not-overly generous portion of Mu Shu Green Pepper - an ingredient I haven't seen used here in the States - but which I personally like. The pork, however, was almost non-existent... More

What a wonderful surprise to find a good Chinese food restaurant outside of Chinatown. Our waitress was very friendly, provided us with excellent service and was able to easily speak English. There were plenty of traditional dishes on the menu as well as a complete bar and beverage list. Food was extremely hot and oh so fresh! I am a... More

Easiest way to sum up the pleasure of the food we got is to say the the vegetables actually crunched when eaten - not because they were undercooked, but because they were fresh and PERFECTLY cooked! Some of the best Chinese food we've had, and would make a point to eat there again on our next return to Montreal. We... More

Their menu will have something for everyone and the prices are reasonable for Montreal. Staff are very helpful and speak English well. I had the General Tao's chicken which was nice and crispy.

Staying in Le Plateau Mont-Royal

Neighbourhood Profile
Le Plateau Mont-Royal
Go native in Plateau Mont-Royal, where bespoke shopping, hip eateries, and wacky paint jobs attract locals and transplants alike, making it one of the city's most diverse and distinctly authentic experiences. A creative hub, Montreal's artistic elite pack the cafes along Rue Saint-Denis, where young painters and fashion designers draw inspiration from the playful murals and stately Victorian homes that dot the Plateau's side streets. Not a major sightseeing destination, a visit to Plateau Mont-Royal allows you to enjoy a local perspective, soaking in indie films, latte art, contemporary galleries, and the city's best bagels. A center of polyglot culture, Québécois accents mingle with shades of Portuguese, Greek, and Hebrew in the area's iconic Mile End district, where restaurants straddle chic designer boutiques, serving up chorizo and caldo verde. Friendliest to those on foot, it's a jungle of colourful awnings and sidewalk umbrellas, pedestrian walks and luxury shopping.
