Service was lovely but took a while. Food was very meh but kind of typical old port resto. Nothing special.

I’m surprised with the good reviews in this place. We made reservations for breakfast. We were seated at the bar, since there was no tables available. The food took 45 minutes to arrive, absolutely unacceptable, especially for breakfast, and our server didn’t even apologize for...how long it was taking. After all this tome, my husband’s food came cold and they brought me the wrong dish. Our coffees were empty for a long time, nobody noticed. I asked for salt and the server put salt on my food instead to give me the salt shaker. I’ve never seen this before in my life. It was also hard to get the bill, we had to call someone and ask for it. The server was inside of the bar the whole time (a lady) and she was being very rude to the other workers in front of everyone, basically yelling at a young server and aggressively taking things from his hands. I think she is the manager, which is even worse for how bad the service was and her lack of care for customers and coworkers. Never again!More

LAURA!!! 5/5 service! Laura created the perfect ambiance for our dinner and night out. Her cocktails were out of this world and she made the experience truly memorable. She also went above and beyond to hook us up at the club across the road. A...night to remember! Thanks Laura!More

A romantic visit yesterday evening was thoroughly enjoyed by us at this beautiful restaurant. We had requested the bar seating and we were seated by the evening manager, Esme, who checked in on us during the evening. We had a few people assist as we...were at the bar yet our main server was William, who makes the greatest Hendricks dirty martinis and who is very knowledgable about the wine selection. We shared the Quebec cheese plate, foie gras torchon, house salad, and a beautiful champagne. Also it was appreciated to see the attention to cleanliness as Zack hand polished each glass at the bar, which fixes a pet peeve of water spots on glasses at other restaurants. We appreciated the attentive service, excellent food, and the beautiful ambience.More

I’ll start with the pros. This place is stunningly beautiful inside and out. The bottomless mimosas are great (one mimosa is $11 so just do the bottomless for $25 if you plan on having a second). Our server was lovely, he had said he was...still new but we thought he did great and was very kind. Cons. It took a long time for our food to come which wasn’t a deal breaker because we were drinking mimosas but definitely was a lengthy wait. I got the eggs breakfast and it was really good. My partner got the eggs Benny and he said he was quite disappointed with it. Generally speaking it was still a great time. BUT. I’d say the part that stuck out to me was the manager/supervisor/ someone in a suit that was clearly the boss was behind the bar (we were sitting at the bar) speaking strongly/sternly/rudely, whatever word you want to use, to his staff who all seemed to be doing something (as in not a single person was just standing around looking bored) it just felt a little power trippy and unnecessary and I wished I hadn’t been privy to it as I’m sure no paying customer would want to be. I recognize that a lot of restaurants have that mentality but I didn’t love it. Still a beautiful place and overall we were glad we spent our morning there.More

Food was good, nothing really outstanding. Service was extremely slow. Towards the end of the dinner it felt that our waiter forgot us completely. Coffees were served ice cold - probably were sitting on counter waiting for service. Not something we expected from such establishment....Will we be back? Probably not. Plenty of nice restaurants in the city to go to.More

Amazing ambience, the decor is a mixt between art deco design and dadaism with a hint of industrial design. And the benedectines are insane! Plus the service was great. We were served by Rebeka and she was great.
