It is a tradicional place in Montreal has been serving people since 1971. Has a vibe of dinner place. The main part of the menu are poutine and smoked meat sandwich, I made my choice with the smoked meat and was good, I recomende.
Come by subway, the station Lionel Groulx is just 3 min walking. The prices are very attractive and staff very kind and polite. It is not a fancy place but good to go.

We came to Green Spot as a family, it’s a very warm place!! Varied dishes for vegetarians and vegans and meat lovers ;)
The service is attentive and the people are pleasant
The dishes are very very generous for a relatively affordable cost, we left full and with a great souvenir
North American atmosphere as we like it 👌🏻
Come and enjoy

Our Uber driver recommended that we check out Green Spot (shout out to Benoit!) and we were not disappointed. We went around 8pm and it was packed but we got a seat immediately. I had the Classic and my brother for the Chop Chop. Both were really good and decent sizes for the price. Our waitress did forget that we ordered corn dogs but honestly we were so full from the poutines we would not have been able to eat them anyways lol. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a delicious poutine somewhere with immaculate vibes!

We ordered two poutine because we were so hungry. I have never been so dissappointed when the meal arrived and I realised that all the meat on the poutine was burned. The ground beef was dry and burned, the bacon was overcooked, the sausages were black. I would never order there again to save my life.

Needed something fast, hunger struck and had to be delt with. Had a couple steamed hotdogs, I find they were not cooked enough. One of the buns had a crusty spot in it, wondering if it was still fit to eat. But all in all they tasted like they should (a hotdogs a hot dog right). Fries were good.
Staff was kind and made the visite a good one.

This was my first diner experience, the breakfast was by far the best breakfast I’ve had in Canada during my travels. The only reason I have given it a 4 is the waitress gave my partner the wrong breakfast, But they did apologise afterwards. Really great food and at a great price.

Without doubt my best culinary experience in Montreal: as soon as you enter, you smell smoked meat, you hear the sound of steaks cooking on the grill.
The booths are comfortable and wide. The service is accommodating, very friendly.
A very long menu, burgers, sandwiches, poutines, Greek dishes,...
So yes, it's not refined, yes we leave there smelling of fat, but we live an experience of a diner open for more than 70 years, we enjoy ourselves and we have a good time!

If was ok. The French fries were good, the poutine was fine, and the staff was friendly. However I had the Greek salad and it was a big disappointment. It contained more lettuce than anything else- had some chopped tomatoes on top with 2 slices of cucumber, 2 olives, and a small rectangular piece of feta. It was not worth the money.

I love breakfast and even if it was much later than my usual breakfast today, my choice of plate was the best definition of a perfect plate. It had eggs, bacon, sausages, smoked meat, fruits, potatoes and top it off a French toast. My brother had a gigantic plate of an English club sandwich with their famous gravy that tastes beefy!

Probably the best Poutine selection in Canada! Excellent old school diner that does pretty much anything you fancy. Went for the St. Henri Poutine which was nothing short of stunning. It made you smile as you were eating it! Delighted to order a Moosehead beer to was it down. We used to get Moosehead back home in the UK during the mid-eighties but disappeared, sadly never to be seen again (there's a business proposition for someone!). It tasted as good as I remember and was only just shaded by my fabulous Poutine. I decided to round it off with a rice pudding which I've only ever eaten hot, but this cold dessert with a dusting of cinnamon was a revelation. My friendly and quick server was great and also treated me to the rice pudding which I told him he didn't need to do, but what a nice touch. Thoroughly enjoyed it and I WILL BE BACK!

Went here for the first time on a Saturday morning for breakfast/lunch. I had the classic poutine with eggs benedict which was AMAZING and my friend had a small pizza. There was soo much delicious food for very cheap prices. The diner was loud a little to hot and busy but service was great. Would definitely come back!

Probably my favorite spot in St Henri.
The place looks like a typical dinner in the 80’s.
The service and food are always on point, can’t go wrong with this one !
Jumbo plater is a must try !!!

Great spot in St Henri, I always have breakfast here at least once while visiting Montreal. Love the old world feel to the place and the food is good and plenty. Service not the best but you get your food quickly and it’s tasty.

I say breakfast, but it was second breakfast, at lunchtime. Crowded spot (be prepared to wait in line), old school diner in the local style. Generous breakfast, good prices, friendly staff. Loved it. Lived in the area for years, and never tried it. What a wasted opportunity, but now I will be back every time I am in town.

Le Sud-Ouest (Southwest District)
Once the core of industrialised Montreal, the factories and historic buildings of Le Sud-Ouest have been renovated into homes, museums, and small businesses. The rejuvenated landscape has put its Saint-Henri district in vogue, with cutting-edge galleries and an ever-expanding network of restaurants. Foodies can especially delight in the mom-and-pop shops in Little Burgundy, or at the Atwater Market, where outdoor stalls sell fresh fruit, vegetables, and meat, street vendors have menus of hot fish and wine, and the indoor market offers chocolate, breads, and coffee beans. Dominated by the gentle waters of the Lachine Canal, Le Sud-Ouest is still very much an outdoor town, with a number of pedestrian-only bridges traversing the waters, bike paths along the canal with views of the Leisure Boats, and massive green spaces like Angrignon Park to stop for a picnic, or to play a sport.
