I walked over around 6:30pm so I can't say if there's much parking. I would suspect that a public parking lot would be in order if you didn't walk over. The pub was packed when I went inside but not to the point that there...More

Hey Steve, You really went out of your way to review us and I can't tell you how much I appreciate that. Four stars with all the detail you give me is worth so much more than 5 stars with no commentary. Cheers big time...More

Always a pleasure returning to McLean's Pub on Peel. This place has the small town charm feel where everyone knows everyone and "first timers" are welcome like best friends. The staff don't hesitate to join in with the fun and games and the ownership is...More

Went to Mcleans Pub for the first time; liked the atmosphere. The beer was great. We ordered Vegie-Nachos, yummy. We shared a pizza too, very good. After 5pm it gets very busy. Enjoyed the music too. Service was very good. Nice place to hang out...More

Good to visit to watch hockey or UFC Lots of beer choice Great downtown location Poutine choices are OK stick with standard poutine! Tried curry poutine and was disappointed. Too much curry! Not too noisy. A good pub to visit.

Try a yard of beer. Very cool way to enjoy some beer with friends. Club sandwich was good, poutine had Spivey fries so a little different. It was still good just wasn’t expecting it.

Hi Jim, Thanks for the 5 star review - that's super kind. I am not sure what you meant by Spivey. Although you were not expecting it, I am happy you enjoyed everything. Cheers, Stuart

Chose this as it was close to our hotel and it looked good. The thing that you first notice is the noise level - mind you, it was a Friday night, but the place was simply buzzing! Having said that, you soon became accustomed to...More

Hi there, Thank you for the feedback and for offering such a kind review about our pub. Yes, Fridays can get pretty loud. I am glad you were not looking for a quiet little place because we couldn't provide that. I am happy you enjoyed...More

Nice casual pub with good beer, selection of poutines for local flavor, and a nicely portioned fish and chips (me) and French onion soup (wife). Decent place for the casual punter.

Stopped in for a dinner and drinks to get out of the snow. Had a good burger, and a couple beer. Been here before and service has always been great. Always busy, and friendly staff.

Hi, Yes, by law our establishment is 18 years and older. We are a bar that serves food (and has lottery video machines) and not a restaurant that serves alcohol. Sorry, wish we could have you visit us. Cheers, Stuart

Description
Built in 1910 by Military Tailor, R.J. Inglis, the building at 1210 Peel Street became the Rymark Tavern in the early 30's. For over 60 years the Rymark was a destination spot for Pigs Knuckles and Baked Beans. In 1992 McLean's Pub was established by the legendary Montreal barman, Ian McLean. Ian loved the warm and inviting atmosphere, with its oak beamed ceilings, hand carved fireplace, and many other unique features. With his incredible charm and a handpicked staff, Ian created a new pub on the scene. He has since passed, but his namesake and life's work is now a landmark pub in downtown Montreal!
