Dusty old wine bottles hanging off the walls. Crammed tables and not a nice ambiance. You need to go to the back of the restaurant for bathroom. Hallway leading to the bathroom smelled weird and it was dirty. The bathroom had broken faucet. Service was...slow and we were left to ourselves until our order arrived after a long wait. I ordered mushrooms pizza and crust was party burnt, partly hard and partly too moist, and tasted like it was fresh out of freezer (taste of freezer). Not going back, and do not recommend.More

We were wandering around centre ville in a light drizzle looking for something not outrageously expensive that could seat naive tourists with no reservations. Stumbled on this little gem and were given a front window table right away. Authentic retro decor swept us right back...to the 1940’s. Kid had pepperoni pizza, wife had manicotti and I had a delicious veal scallopini Marsala, a brown mushroom sauce. Portions were generous without being oppressive, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was charming. Service was professional, timely and unobtrusive. Only ding was for a fairly expensive and quotidian wine list. Not much imagination there, but it gets the job done. Great place for a family dinner.More

We found this little gem down the street from our hotel. It is unassuming but has wonderful service and huge portions. Although we were drawn to it for the pizza we both had different veal dishes and the food was excellent. Will definitely return to...in Montreal.More

Green salada with house vinaigrette was but a big bunch of salad sitting in a pool of Hawaiian dressing. Capeletti were nothing but a bunch of thick pasta, no filling. Sauce with wine and cream were but a sauce blanche with water/flower and no wine....Amazing that this soulless place has gone through Covid 19 unabated while so many good places went out.More

I’ve been going to this restaurant for well over 20 years. Previously known as “Santa Lucia” & now “Restaurant Siciliana”. Food is consistently good. Wood burning oven, great pizza, lasagna, veal, fettuccine alfredo, tiramisu & latte. The checkered table cloths & the bottles hanging from wall...provide the atmosphere needed for a great date night. With exceptional service & reasonable price$ to boot. 😃More

We ate here on Jan 22 for dinner. We ordered the pizza and had some drinks. Pizza was delicious and service was excellent. Restaurant was a little old and worn but that was part of the charm. Used the washroom before I left. Thankfully it...was after my meal. It was very old and dirty, could really use some up dating. Also, had to go through area where staff work to get there. Not a deal breaker but needs some updating for sureMore

This is a charming storefront restaurant downtown with checkered table cloths. So we imagined it as an old fashioned favorite Italian restaurant. And the service was charming and it was popular. But the food was not so great and we had a hard time loving...it.More

Absolutely disappointed! The risotto was paste like. When I told the server about this, she says the kitchen staff wasn't surprised by my comment. They did NOT offer to take anything off my bill or to replace it. I'd never go here again. My wife...had the lasagna. Again, nasty. The sauce tasted almost rancid! She was so hungry though she ended up eating half of it. Do NOT eat here!More

Atmosphere was great. We loved the spaghetti carbonara. Took half an hour to place drink order, the service was not good and we didn’t enjoy the drinks. Also, says online that you can bring your own wine, this is not true.

Located right in downtown Montreal, this place is excellent value. They have three course meals, with tea or coffee, for $20 give take a dollar or two. I had pasta with mushroom sauce, and my husband had salmon and both were good with fairly large...portions and came with buns that had been heated up. We were there after 8pm, and they had run out of most of the desserts, though our server did her best to find us something.More

Ordered a food (delivery). Food was just a joke. Green salad was rotten. Lasagna -over-salted. Salmon was burned. Tiramisu-was a peace of the cheap cake from a grocery store. All was terrible and went to the garbage.

We have eaten at this restaurant before and the food was great and the service was good. Although they didn’t have any buns left and was given hamburger buns as a replacement. So, during the pandemic while staying in Montreal we decided to order from...here. I called and the lady taking my order kept interrupting to speak with other staff. After finally placing the order I was told 1/2 hour to 1 hour for delivery. After an hour and 10 minutes I decided to call back. I was told they lost my number and it would be there right away. A half hour later it finally showed up. I left the driver a tip as it wasn’t his fault . The food was completely cold. We had waited 1 hour and 40 minutes. I was lied to and told they lost the number but on my receipt was all the info I first gave when I ordered. I’m actually ok waiting that long for delivery as the food was good. BUT it was cold. I’m staying at a hotel with no way to heat it up not should I have had to. The food was good but because I had to wait 1hr 40mins plus the food being cold I’m giving 3 stars. If it was hot I would have given 4, on time would have been 5 stars. Again, the food was good.More

My friends and I came accidently, across this restaurant many years ago, on a shopping trip to Montreal. We loved the simple Italian ambience, and the food was fabulous!! Just recently, me and my same friend, seemed it out, and nothing had changed!!! The same...great food, atmosphere, and very reasonable prices. Next time in Montreal, I will be going back.More

We ended up here because other restaurants were closed over the Holidays, but had a delightful meal. Generous portions of hearty Italian food. Efficient service. Pleasant, homey atmosphere
