Bravo Restaurant Toast! Outstanding dining experience in a special place that is tucked away on a small street in the lower city. The venison with juniper berry and blueberry sauce and Jerusalem artichoke vichyssoise with house smoked scallop and wild shrimp were standouts. The attentive...More

Great food in a very grown-up restaurant. In particular recommend asking for the "rhubarb water"; this is a seasonal non-alcoholic drink that is out of this world. So refreshing and so happy we tried it --- the waiter had a great recommendation.

While our meal was perfectly fine - compared with innovative restaurants such as Ils Flottante in Montreal - it lacked in presentation, flavor and creativity. The ambience is intimate and the staff is both competent and charming. You (over)pay for the restaurant's location in the...More

Had the opportunity to eat st Toast with a group and it was amazing. Although the menu was written in French, our waiter could not have been better in explaining everything in English. Mushroom, baguette with quail egg on top was so delicious I could...More

2nd visit in 5 years to this restaurant. Small and intimate. Access is through the lobby of the hotel in which it is housed. Comfortable, caring and professional service. Not aloof at all. Began with the duck carpaccio which had a delicious smokiness to it....More

We stayed at the hotel Priori and loved it, but this restaurant(not managed by the hotel) was a disappointment, especially after seeing such high reviews. The food and drinks are overpriced, the courtyard seating is uncomfortable and the pretty setting is hidden by curtain panels and...More

I would suggest smart casual or cocktail dress. We dined in a collared shirt, bow tie and blazer, and a black cocktail dress with heels.

At 17, rue Sault-au-Matelot in the heart of the Old Port of Quebec, housed in the charming Hotel Le Priori. There is a current and warm décor, the kichen is inspired by the flavors and fragrances from around the world. We have a large inner courtyard with garden terrace in season, heated and protected from the weather.
