We knew we would be warmly bundled after exploring Old Quebec by foot and sought a comfortable place with delicious food. SSS exceeded our expectations, by warmly welcoming us and delighting our taste buds. Appetizers of mussels and lamb came wonderfully prepared with tasteful sauces...More

We chose SSS because of the stone warm décor shown in their pictures. It is a lovely atmosphere. Also for the elk main course on the menu which we can highly recommend with the sausage and steak. The starter of sweetbreads is a must order,...More

Stopped here for lunch and had our best meal while visiting Quebec. In fact, my dish (a fish special) was one of the best that I've had in a long time. The service matched the food. It's a bit expensive but worth it.

I saw a review for the restaurant on Tripadvisor and since in the area we went in. Very interesting menu and well worth the visit but think the dinner menu might be overpriced. The service was good and friendly and fast but we seemed a...More

Dined with wife for dinner. SSS is a smallish intimate restaurant with creative and innovative selections. Wine list is reasonable, service efficient and prices realistic. A relaxing and comfortable experience.

Recommended by a local. The interior with stone walls and glassed in wine cellar was warm and inviting...could have been in France. Service was attentive and polite with my American French(they do speak English). The potato soup with lentils and shrimp was the best I've...More

This restaurant was highly recommended and did not disappoint. The food was fabulous, the ambiance was pleasant and calm, away from the bustling street noise of Québec. The goat cheese appetizer and salmon tartare were perfect and well paired with a lovely wine. I suggest...More

On our evidence, having been in the restaurant only slightly later than your proposed visit, this would be an ideal location for your celebration. You would certainly require a reservation but there were a number of family... More

Opened in november 2009, the Simple Snack Sympathique, at 71 rue Saint-Paul, is a few minutes walking distance from Toast! its older brother! SSS offers you 2 ambiances. Enter through the lounge section, with its higher tables and chairs and with the music a bit higher. On the other side, the restaurant section offers another decor and a more cosy atmosphere with its working fireplace where time is of no importance to savour a great meal.
