This place was recommended to us for lunch by a person who booked our waking tour at the information center. It was very good. My husband ordered a hot sandwich and I ordered a breakfast sandwich with a cup of fresh fruit a pond coffee....More

We landed in Paillard on recommendation of Trip Adviser folks. You did not steer us wrong. It smells amazing, and for someone that had not eaten bread in 14 weeks, it was heavenly. Everyone ordered pastries and baguette to share. The baguette was perfection. Crusty...More

Chocolate croissants were so good! Make sure and ask them to warm them. Ate there twice on my most recent trip.

Enjoyed breakfast here 2 days in a row. Great breakfast sandwiches, pastry and coffee. Don’t be intimidated by the line, it goes by fast, it’s a smooth operation with great service.

While visiting Quebec recently we had breakfast here twice. The food is great and the service is very efficient. There can be long lines in the morning however they are so well organized it really doesn't take long to be served.

Lunch of soup and salad was inexpensive and above average. Good soupe aux legumes, very good poulet chili legumes sandwich. But nothing impressive. But the millefeuille Paillard--perfect flakiness to the crust, perfect creaminess, very satisfying sweet-but-not-to-sweetness. And the dark chocolate truffle proved a wonderful dessert...More

They deserve "the best croissant" rating- we thought they were the best we'd had on this trip, and generally! The cafe was always busy, but not a huge wait. Consistent quality. Clean and nice setting.

Good place to recharge the batteries with a pastry and a coffee. They have macaroons as well. Counter service with plenty of seating at long tables.

We didn’t ask for the recipe. I am not sure if they give their trade secrets away but it needed no butter! It was perfect!!

They were around $2 each. Not the best macarons I have had, but it was nice to try the maple one.
