The food here was amazing, and such a great find outside of the city. We got there early (5pm ish) and were the first ones seated, I can imagine the place is packed later on in the evening so make a reservation before showing up there. We had the rate of the day (trout), venison, risotto and octopus. Everything was... More

We were 4, had a mix of everything from fish (cod) "cassoulet", seafood risotto and blood pudding ! Everything tasted great, use of herbs & oils added a great, yet subtle touch to the dishes. Although each dish tasted great we ended up mixing and sharing ! Wine list adequate, server was great. Don't judge by the looks of the... More

We and friends had reserved and arrived to a friendly greeting and funky little restaurant. A small, but eclectic menu, nice wine list and cozy ambience. One of their offerings that evening had run out and on discussing that with us, a lovely replacement was prepared & thoroughly enjoyed. All dinners were enjoyed and desserts were delicious too. Service was... More

I had been told how good this restaurant was by many foodie friends, but I didn't quite believe it until I went. Everything was incredible, from the very attentive service from Julien, to the vast bar (over 20 kinds of gin!), and the short yet excellent menu with quite the array of proteins. The attention to detail was wonderful. Try... More

We could not hold what we now call "Julian's place" in higher regard. The food was incredible (warning for untraveled US citizens : it's very French!) and our waiter Julian could not have been nicer. From the English laser-printed menus to the home made lemonade (our kids proposed the ingredients) the service was just great. And while the main courses... More

The food was without a doubt the best we ate in Quebec city. Fresh, delicious and the service was incomparable. Cusine of the region served in an intimate warm, cozy bistro setting. The service was attentive and sincere. If it were open more nights when we were on Quebec we would have absolutely gone back if there were reservations available.

The resto is slightly out of the way, but absolutely worth it! My friend and I chose several entrées because we wanted to taste as many different things as possible. Everything we had was an explosion of flavours - from the gnocchi to the pudding to the praline crème brûlé, nothing disappointed. Definitely the best place ate during our 3... More

We had a great meal here. We had the sweet bread and blood pudding as appetizers (15$ each) and elk cheek and guinea fowl as main entrees (29$ each). The foods are excellent, in particular the appetizers were extremely tasty. The place is Very simple, and the sign is inconspicuous. With the excellent food, they can expect to attract people....
