The menu contained one of the largest selection of crepes in any restaurant we’ve been to. There were a lot of savory and sweet options including their unique Benedict style. We ordered the duck confit and smoked salmon spinach Benedict crepes and were not disappointed. The crepes were thin, a little crispy and generously filled. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly and we appreciated the drizzling of hollandaise sauce. Service was good and ambiance was casual. Overall a delicious meal.

Le Billig was one of our favorite restaurants in Quebec, and we went to some very fine places! The food was exceptional. I have never had a crepe with such depth of flavor! We ordered four different entrees and each one was fantastic. The turnip soup was out of this world and the lemon curd dessert crepe worth going back! Not to be outdone by the food, the service was superior. Our waitstaff was helpful, funny and attentive to every question and comment we made. The interior of the restaurant is like a cafe in Brittany: charming, quirky and cozy, all at the same time. We loved the whole thing!

We felt some very good things were going to happen when the manager of the restaurant went out in the street to show us how the parking system worked so we could park our car and not get ticketed. Once back in the restaurant we ordered our crepes... 2 sausage, 1 salmon and 1 prosciutto together with beverages:, pale ale , Guiness, wine and cider. Our server was quite attentive bringing what we ordered to us. The food was remarkable in taste and served hot. That's the short story... how we got to agree with the other previous 5 star experiences.

Located in Old Town on a corner in an older building, Le Billig offers many varieties of crepes. Our family ordered and endured a longer than normal wait. Finally, our orders came, less one chocolate crepe for my grandson. We re-ordered but when it was ready to be delivered from the kitchen (server's claim), we were about to leave. We cancelled the crepe, but reluctance by the management side to remove the cost immediately really was surprising. This resto is overrated. My duck crepe was very large but also notably dry.

What a disappointing experience we had at Le Billig. We were visiting the city and were very excited to have crepes. Our first choice, Au Petit Coin Breton was closed, so we landed at Le Billig. The reviews were predominantly good, so we had high hopes. Despite there only being 3 or 4 other parties in the restaurant, our waiter was inattentive and we felt like he had zero interest in making our experience at Le Billig a good one. My duck crepe with onion confit and goat cheese was was dry and bland. My friend ordered the Benedict crepe with seasonal mushrooms and that was delicious. She was kind and shared with me. If the service had been good, I could have overlooked the uninspiring food. Needless to say, I will not go back to Le Billig.

Our guide on a tour of old Quebec recommended walking outside the old walls and this was the place she called out for the best crepes. It’s a place the locals love. We had a sweet crepe and shared it. It was fabulous. Our guide had also recommended their savoury crepes and have it with a cider. If we have time, we’ll go back and try that. The service was very friendly and attentive too. Great place

I used to love this place, maybe they have a new chef. Our meals where terrible. My husband was seved a crepe with uncooked mushrooms and they tasted sour. My crepe was so so, drenched in heavy cream. There was an abundance of potatoes but very fee gardens. It was louder and there were televisions everywhere. The ambiance I knew is gone. Lr billig has changed and not for the better.

Very cool little space in a cool neighborhood just outside the upper old town. Savory crepes with buckwheat flour were very good and thoughtfully created. Excellent food in a cool spot. Service was . . . French . . . but it was a good place to relax, talk and enjoy. We'd go back in a second.

The concierge at the Chateau Frontenac told us that Le Billig had the best crepes in Quebec City. He was absolutely correct! The buckwheat crepes were exceptional. We had the crepes with duck and goat cheese. Wow! Maxim, our server, was wonderful! This restaurant, located a bit out of town, its worth the visit. Great food at a reasonable price!

During our little stay in Quebec we dined twice in this little restaurant a little away from the crowds of Old Quebec. The pancakes and pancakes are excellent and worth the pancakes and pancakes of Brittany. Better book to have a table! Friendly waiters. No children's menus.

Has a neighborhood feel and excellent food. Seems less touristy in a good way. For a family that always rushes through dinner, we always seem to linger and enjoy dinner and company at le billing (which is no small feat with two teenagers!). Highly recommend.

La Cancalaise (Scallops) crepe was our favourite. L'Argoat is good La Tatan for dessert was good. Oh man, real creme in the desserts...you can taste the butter. Drinks and atmosphere was typically good for Quebec city and waiter spoke fluent English.

We are in Quebec for a few months. Lucky us! We have been trying the crepes! Today we found the best yet at Le Billig Creperie at 481 Rue Saint Jean. Probably the best tasting crepe I’ve ever had. As usual, I asked the server for a recommendation. He suggested Le baron, a buckwheat crepe with duck, goat cheese, spinach and caramelized onion on the side. His suggestions did not disappoint us! This restaurant is very casual in decor. Nothing fine dining in decor, but it was absolutely the best in food, and excellent service!!. I would give them five stars plus a few extra stars if possible. And our server invited to come back some evening for more good French food. For sure we will go again!!!!!

We went here for Sunday lunch at the recommendation of our hotel (Le Germain) - we asked for a place to get crepes and they steered us away from the places in the old city to Le Billig. It was definitely worth the 10 min drive. A very authentic Creperie-Bistro with a great selection of delicious crepes. I had a savory crepe with Sausage, some aged cheese, spinach and sauteed onions and it was fabulous. My wife was still in Breakfast mode and had a benedict crepe with perfectly poached eggs and cheese and salmon in the crepe. We shared a banana/chocolate/whipped cream crepe afterward and it was superb. Very pleasant sitting outside on Rue St. Jean watching people go by (it was pedestrian only on Sunday).

I chose Le Billig for lunch during a weekend in Quebec City because I heard that it's a good restaurant... and it is. What I didn't expect was the style of crepes served there. All of the savory crepes are made with buckwheat, which is, I've learned, the style of crepe found in Brittany, France. The crepes are folded into squares, and the filling is on top. My vegetarian crepe (L'Argoat -- cheese, mushrooms, spinach, and lemon cream) was absolutely delicious. My only complaint is that I didn't have room for a dessert crepe! Tea lovers take note: Le Billig serves loose leaf tea!
