We chose the 47eme parrallele to meet with some friends before going to a concert. The 20th anniversary menu was chosen by the four of us... What an amazing surprise, starters were all both creative and tasty (kangaroo tartar with pears and blue cheese, or duck rolls in Cranberry sauce, I did not pick in our friends dishes but looked... Food was good, not great. Service was ok, maybe barely good. Overcharged on the bill for the wine. their 20 year special meal said coffee is included when we ordered decaf they charged saying it is not coffee. Rather scummy of them.

Jaded New Yorker here tired of Manhattan's inauthentic French offerings that are often overrated with bad service, I was so overwhelmed to discover this amazing oasis that Escoffier himself would have approved. The food at this restaurant is inventive, fresh, perfectly portioned. I don't pay attention to the Michelin guide anymore since they awarded stars to some horrible places, but... More

Have eaten here a few times before concerts at the Grande Theatre, This past November 2 times again. First time everything was excellent, had the Sea Bass as a main, which was not plentyfull but nicely done in 3 large chuncks (like cubes). A wonderful soup. And amazing desert. A drink before and bottle wine. Not too expensive and service... More

Chateau Frontenac had given us several new years eve recommendations, this was not one of them. The restaurant has a nice contemporary vibe. Staff was friendly, however, the waiter seemed hurried (it was New Year's Eve) but suggested a good bottle of wine and explained the menu well. Menu was kind of bland and so was the food. Never picked... More

I went for lunch and the food was excellent and the staff very attentive. It is not on one of the main road or tourist area but cen be done on foot and worth the little detour. Probably were the locals go for a good dinner.

Our friends took us to Le 47e as a special dinner marking the end of our stay in Quebec City. The menu had a wide choice, and we all managed to have something different for starters, mains and deserts which made the meal all the more interesting. All the plates were beautifully presented, and served with style. The wine list was... More

We just stopped here because we were tired and wanted to grab a quick bite. The service was very slow. We were placed at a table with plastic red chairs. (ugh) We asked for better chairs that the other customers had. It took a long time to get our water, our food, and our check. The food was average, we... More

Before going to the "Grand Theatre" this refined restaurant serves excellent food with a "before the show diner menu". Service is efficient as they make sure you are going to a show. The food is excellent, beautifully presented and extremely tasty. It is a must if you want to go to a concert or show while making sure you have... More

If you go there outside of peek hours, the chef will take time to make a real nice GF full course meal. Expensive but so good and worth it !
