I ate at this restaurant about 3 years ago and the Linguine Noires Aux Fruits de Mar left such an impression on me I just searched for the restaurant name. Yes, 3 years later. The dish ingredients are simple, but the flavor is fantastic! If...I ever return to the city, I will be coming back for more.More

We dined at Portofino on New Years weekend. The city was crowded as were all of the restaurants. Our concierge called and secured a table for 4. When we arrived, we were placed in a high traffic are. The Maiore d could not have been...more accommodating and gave us a better table before our drinks arrived. Our group ordered a variety of dishes and all were good or great. The spinach salad and Cesar salads were both excellent.More

The flavor of the food ita good, the place is calid and nice, good service and another type of regular restaurant but too expensive for the size of the food, specially the pizzA.

My sister and I came to Quebec City for a week celebrating our 50th Birthday. So far we encountered wonderful people! We were excited to try Portofino, seeing it was a few blocks from where we rented our apartment. Unfortunately, before we could even try...the restaurant, we were rudely handled by a girl out front of restaurant to take our name. Arrogant, rude and too young to even have this attitude... we will never enter this establishment again, nor will we ever refer it to friends, family or business associates in the future.More

We were a table of 12 people we got there for 5 p.m. . The food was great and some of the servers were awesome. Since this is a very busy place I felt like I was being rushed out the door we had yet...to finish our drinks. When one of the waiters had come by and asked 4 anybody want any dessert coffee tea which people got and then before we even got our are coffee and tea he was already giving us the bill. So that was probably the part that ruined it the most and when my husband was trying to pay on his debit card the waiter was trying to pull out the machine while my husband's card was still in the machineMore

Honestly I was expecting a little more about this place, so far in Quebec I has founded just one good place to eat italian food, and this for sure is not the second. For entering we had to wait just a little and I thought...that was a good sign, like people love it. But it wasn’t the case for me, for a plate of 30 I was expecting for sure such a delicious pasta. All our food had too much spice and flavor, pasta wasn’t “aldente”, and my wife doesn’t like ether her risotto. Well just not a place for recommend, the price doesn’t worth itMore

We had dinner here after enjoying the hop-on hop-off tour bus all day and got a 10% discount with the tour bus receipt...nice. We shared the arancini to start...very good + delicious tomato sauce. We then shared the pizza with arugula and prosciutto...fresh toppings and...a nice thin crust. Good selection of wines by the glass.More

Portifino was delicious! We got pizzas, salads and pastas and everyone loved what their dinners! Probably not the best choice for a quick meal, but the service was friendly and attentive.

We were able to get a table on a Sunday night without a reservation. Very good food! I had fish with a tomato/olive sauce that was amazing. Bread was delicious. Great upbeat atmosphere. Would definitely eat here again.

Sorry I can't be more helpful, I drink wine. Husband says it was bottled beer but there was a choice.
