Legende will be on my list for the best experiences of my life! We enjoyed the 5-course tasting menu + wine. The food and wine were beautiful, the presentation was absolute ART. I expected it to be amazing but it was beyond that. When the...food arrived in front of us it was so fun to see what we would get to try next. I feel so lucky to have experienced this place. We truly enjoyed our night! The service was also incredible, and at the end they gave us a copy of the menu, signed, and with the names of everyone on the team that made the dinner possible. Can I rate this higher than 5 stars? We had the tasting menu with the lower priced wine pairings and it was the best meal I have ever had. The flavour combinations, the variety, the pacing, the incredible match of the wine to the food,...the plating, the service... perfection. I have paid more than double for food and wine way less impressive than this. Go if you are a foodie, or if you are just not picky, or just go in general - you will NOT be disappointed. I also loved that we got a card with everything we had eaten and the pairings at the end of the night - such a lovely touch. This was truly a gastronomic delight. Thank you to all!More

At Legende, I started with oysters and Rose wine. A perfect combination. Loved the touch of amuse buche, a small tartlett2. Main course was Scallops (2) with an interesting slaw. A few low points: no bread & butter, menu is an electronic tablet, no printed...menu available. And a moist towel, before the main course. This was superfluous and added to the overall cost. Still, a very good dinner.More

Amazing farm to table, organic, gluten friendly menu. Superb wine list. Outstanding service and atmosphere. Staff were very knowlegeable about the menu preparations and helpful with gluten substutions. Very upscale but comfortable and welcoming. Can't wait to return! Top pick for Old Quebec City.

We were staying at the hotel next door and read reviews doe this restaurant and I'm really glad that we could get a table. They seem to do two sittings, one around 5.45 and one at 8.30pm. They have a nice outside area for drinks...before dinner. We opted for the tasting, which most people seemed to choose, also with wine pairing. For the quality it eas good value for money. It's 5 courses with a few smaller extras, the portion sizes aren't as small as in some tasting menus. I suspect if you went a la carte the portions would be bigger. I was confused with the a la carte as they don't distinguish between starters and mains. Apparently you can choose each dish as either. Standout dishes for me were the tomato and tortellini. They were so good, if they had opened for lunch we would have gone back for a la carte! Unfortunately we had to leave QC. The restaurant setting is nice, a good buzz and the service was really exceptional. This restaurant knows what it is doing.More

We had our anniversary dinner at Legende. It was spectacular! The restaurant is very small and you need a reservation. The food was prepared wonderfully and the meal was memorable. All of the menu selections are terrific! If you are in Quebec and miss this...restaurant, you will have missed probably the best meal that you can get in Quebec. Five stars!!!More

We really enjoyed this restaurant. When they say they only use Quebec sourced ingredients, they mean it. Not even olives or a lemon twist for cocktails. We had the mordane appetizer, tortellini and lobster. All were nicely prepared and attractively presented. Wait staff are very...knowledgeable and friendly. Yes, this place is expensive but if you choose to splurge and enjoy a top shelf restaurant, this is the place.More

We picked this restaurant for our 30th anniversary during our vacation in Quebec and it did not disappoint! My wife and I consider ourselves to be "foodies," and can be very difficult to please when dining out, but this restaurant was absolutely terrific! Our only...regret for the evening was that we did not try the tasting menu! But this gives us a reason to come back! The staff was terrific from the moment we showed up to when we got up to leave. A special thanks to our waiter who made the evening so enjoyable! He really seemed to love his job and was so knowledgeable about the food and had such a wonderful attitude. The chef was absolutely amazing as both of our meals were unbelievable! We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling to Quebec who loves food like we do!!! Thanks again!!!!More

It is not often the experience at a restaurant lives up the name: "Legend". This was a special evening of partaking in the delicacies of Quebec as thoughtfully prepared and conceived by a chef that I hope gets the reputation they deserve. Combine that with...a team that excelled at each role to make this a memorable evening. We enjoyed a fixed course menu paired with wines that just blew us away. From the surprise box of smoky tastes, to each following course, it was something that really one should experience. Is it inexpensive? No, but I dare say it was worth each penny and each wonderful taste that I experienced.....More

Service was the main ingredient at Legende. When we arrived we decided to have a drink outdoors before dinner. Marc (Mach!) seated us outdoors and paired wine with each of our preferences. He was a very knowledgeable and a joy. When seated, we had the...pleasure of Zachary to serve us. As we were ordering wine, my friend was so impressed with Marc that he wanted Marc to recommend the pairings, but he waited to hear what Zachary recommended. Well Zachary started explaining the differences in various Chianti wines regions, etc. and we realized the entire staff was incredibly knowledgeable. He explained all their past and ongoing training and we realized this was no ordinary restaurant and staff. We ordered ala carte and had the pork belly/pork, venison, trout, shiitake dumplings and halibut cervice. Each dish was a work of art, and diligently explained to us. All dished were enjoyed, but the table generally agreed the pork belly/pork dish was the best. Honestly, i would have ordered two of those - one of the best meals I think I ever had (close tie with a suckling pic from FIG in Charleston!). This place was great! Buttoned down service, a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for.More

We chose and made reservations for this restaurant because they had a vegetarian menu online. They actually made everything vegan for us. The flavors were incredible for every dish. It is expensive but in my opinion worth every penny.
