This is our second time to the Quebec City region and the second time we tried the Cochon Dingue. The first time was in St.Foy just outside Quebec City. This time we went to their location in lower town by the port. We were there around lunch time so my wife was able to order breakfast and I could have... More

We were in the lower city and it turned out that the place where we wanted to try, we needed to have reservations. This was early April & the weather wasn't the best, but places had tables reserved. We had eaten at Cochon Dingue on a previous visit and they had a table so we revisited. This is nothing fancy,... More

Used TA to find this venue close to our hotel, Located in the Quartier Petit Champlain district in the Lower Town part of Old Quebec. Ambiance is pleasant and the servers were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was an omelet and a scrambled egg special both with home fries, bread and coffee, All food was very good, recommend, Hope this helps,

I went to Cochon Dingue for brunch. It has a typical brunch menu and solid food. The food was not exceptional, but it was good. I gave it four stars because it has a nice, comfortable vibe, and the waitress was very nice. Also, I had no problems with cross contamination on my gluten-free order.

First off, I must say that this is maybe the 2nd review I have ever done on any restaurant but feel strongly enough to share our experience. I was there with my husband and 2 year old for an early-ish supper. When we first arrived at the restaurant, we were the only ones seated in our section. Within about 15... More

Go see all smiles Patrick and DeeDee et al at this wonderful spot! We enjoyed two separate breakfast days. Our favs: Good Start poached egg with a huge amount of fresh fruit, cheese, english muffin. The Gourmet breakfast is a meat eaters dream: Bacon, sausage, ham, eggs, baked beans, pate, yummy cranberry bread, English muffin. And the Country Special includes... More

We were in Quebec for Winter Carnival and stopped here twice for breakfast. Loved the English speaking staff and our food was delightful. French toast, waffles, maple syrup, hot chocolate, and poutine. The poutine was fabulous by itself.

Excellent restaurant, friendly staff and good service. Reasonable prices. I have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner and have never been disappointed.

We visited this restaurant a few years ago and had a great experience, but were definitely underwhelmed this time around. The atmosphere was lacking and the food was just okay. Not sure what has changed, but we were disappointed.
