Out of my 3 days visiting Quebec City from Toronto this place was by far my favourite. My wife got the eggs Benedict with salmon and I got over easy eggs with bacon, sausage and ham (2 eggs 3 meat). The place was full and...after waiting for 5 minutes outside we got our table for 2 upstairs. Such a nice environment and scene. Unfortunately my French sucks but we had no problem ordering in English and speaking to our waitress. Overall 5 out if 5.More

Every time we walked by this place, there was a line! So we got going a little earlier and we were glad we did! I got the Brunch Achielle (something like that!)- it came with bacon, ham, a yummy sausage and meat pie! And eggs,...homemade bread, great potatoes & tomatoes! Yum! My husband got crepes and loved them. Awesome breakfast!!More

We happened upon this restaurant for breakfast and had a lovely meal. The waitstaff was friendly and kind, the atmosphere is fun, and the food delicious! Make sure to try the homemade strawberry jam - it was so good we bought a jar to bring...home with us!More

We had good service here for breakfast. A ton of different options along with things for the kid. We had a mix of a crepe option for one person and one of their more full breakfast options with a mix of options for the other....Everything tasted great and the selections meant we had plenty to pick from.More

You get the sense that this is a spot locals go, which makes it all the more endearing. The classic diner feel and menu will be comfortable for any from the US or other parts of Canada. Wide variety of breakfast options that you can...customize. We did have to wait outside about 20 or so minutes for a table, so certainly dress for the weather. Gracious waitstaff and host. Would definitely return.More

Ah you feel so lucky when you're wandering in a touristique area, in an unfamiliar city, in a bit of a hurry with a train to catch, in minus 19 degrees- we needed something to eat, and we stumbled on this place. It was just...perfect. We thought it might be good when we saw the quebecois cop having his lunch at the counter. Poutine, perfect. Service was absolutely charming, food was great, bill was incredibly reasonable. We hear it attracts big crowds in tourist season, so our strong advice to you is to visit French Canada in mid January. 👍More

This was a real find in Quebec City! Delicious hearty breakfasts that kept us on our feet for a day of sight-seeing. Served with coffee or draft beer! Went to several other restaurants and were very disappointed with bad food served cold. It became our...go-to place for good food. We had struggled up-and-down steep streets and had to choke down crud until we stumbled on this waterfront bistro. Hurray!More

We came here on our first night and had dinner. It was so yummy and the restaurant had such a good vibe that we returned for brunch! The food is homecooked with great portions- a great spot for the whole family!

This was a great find on our last day in Quebec. Its a bit out of the way but there was a que of locals to get in so we thought it must be good and it was. Good value, home cooked food thats fresh...from the chef - not the microwave. We all had variations of the breakfast. There was great service from the team with coffee topped up when we needed it. Very busy place and in the summer there is an outside area as well. Great value, and probaly the best value meal we had in Quebec City.More

A great value for money thanks to reasonable price and amazing quantities. Expect a lineup outside though because it is a popular spot on St Paul.

Best breakfast by a long mile. Actually found out way there several days. Staff is amazing. Old fashioned service, and I mean great service. The food was amazing. The buffet brunch as well as the crepes.

So good we repeated both breakfast and lunch. When they line up outside in the cold you know it’s good. Staff are very pleasant and service is great.

This was a busy little breakfast stop. We were a group of 5 and although we could not sit at a table, we sat at the breakfast bar. It was fun to watch the chefs and the busy open kitchen. They were in constant motion....The food was delicious (minus one egg that one of the group members said was not fully cooked). I had bacon cooked in pancake batter, which was delicious! A couple of people had eggs benny and said they were rich and tasty (lots of butter added to all the food during the cooking process which helps with the deliciousness I'm sure). the washrooms are clean and one for all (no separation of boys, girls, etc which was great as there was no confusion as to where to go :). when we left there was a line up out the door waiting on tables. This is a sure sign the food must be good!More

We had a couple of very good meals here, both breakfast and dinner. The meals are more traditional Canadian meals, if you want very expensive 'French style' meals, this is not for you. If you want some really good local food at a very reasonable...place then this is the place for youMore

Worth the wait. Read reviews praising this place and it did not disappoint. After waiting in line for a short time, we were welcomed in English and entered this busy cafe. It was hard to choose from the many choices on the menu but I...chose the Beef Poutine and hubby had a chicken salad san. Service and food were both as good as expected and we do hope to return before our trip ends.More
